Waves call out in song,
Sea breeze teases sunlit hair—
Sands of time await.
Flip-flops mark our path to peace,
Horizon holds dreams aloft....

Flying across and above the vast Atlantic Ocean
To his own birth country where we were always meant to meet.

Atlantic Ocean
Just the simplest things
Are what express me the most.
Like the long wide Atlantic Ocean
That stretches across my earth
Leaving not a room for a wing
In this small home
Where freedom isn’t heard of or known....

The massive ship and hopes were lost
No lifeboats left for passengers
Their lips were blue, skin bit by frost
The massive ship and hopes were lost
Atlantic Ocean not yet crossed
The radar failed, no messengers
The massive ship and hopes were lost
No lifeboats left for passengers

Signore Christopher Columbus came up with a wacky notion!

He claimed he could reach India by sailing west across the Atlantic Ocean!

"Just think of all them spices and gold! We ain't got nothin' to lose!"

Queen Isabella thought him nuts but reluctantly funded the cruise!

Premium Member Hellfire Gala - Braddock Lighthouse
There's a lighthouse on Braddock Isle
I wish I could visit it once and a while

It borders the Celtic Sea and Atlantic Ocean
It must look so nice with the waves in motion

Beautiful Krakoan flowers thrive to the land
They must be beautiful to view again and again

At low tide the lighthouse is reachable by foot
If I had my camera I'd give it a permanent look...

Palm trees are being blown out to sea today
In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and far away
Hurricane Idalia is making sure she is having her way
When we think of Florida we all must pray

Alligators are in hiding, the manatees too
Housewives have stopped cooking their beef stew
People are all running toward Interstate ninety-five.
Trying to escape so they can stay alive....

Whenever I shall look at the sea,
I shall remember you.
As you have given me the sea.
With all its depth and treasures.
I have been always near the sea.
And so you can’t be away from me.
I know we are soon to depart,
Going far away from each other.
But your Atlantic Ocean
Meets my Indian Ocean somewhere.
There is no boundary between the two,
They are together since the time immemorial....

Love
Love; only four letters long,
Yet everyone knows
That its meaning stands strong.

Packed with power and equipped with so much emotion ,
This word has a definition
That could fill the entire Atlantic ocean.

People often wonder where love gets it start,
So I'm here to tell you
That it love begins in the heart.
Sincerely Khalia x0x0x...

Serenity
I drown in this mind full of thoughts,
Overwhelmed and insecure.
Heart colder than the Atlantic Ocean,
My blood burns hotter than the sun.
With every line of this euphoric dust,
You became my one true love.
The monster.

From the depths of the underworld
To the heavens in the sky,
God blessed me with purpose.
Through the beautifully innocent eyes,
I have found my serenity.
For you my son,
I dedicate my life....

West Side Apartment
The Apartment on the West side.
Facing the Atlantic Ocean, facing America.
The sun lights its walls.
The hours of the day turn as the daylight.

The scent of Midwest loss and that feelin'
at the backyard looking at the apartment.
Birds fly from Indiana to Columbus,
from balcony to balcony

People unaware ,they have become Americans
Without even knowing their world.
The sunny afternoon, explores greatness within...

Pirate kings do not have mommies.
Stevie is silent.
Feeling all powerful.
Stevie, this is Daddy!
Can you open the door, Son?

Captain Steve knows nothing about a door.
He is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
Facing a wall of waves.
His mean are petrified with terror.
Steve is the bravest of the pirate kings.
He slashes his sword in the air four times.
To warn the sea creatures.
No one is taking this ship....

Premium Member Sea Gave Me Answers
Frisky loud waves in the cove were calling to me this morning
As I approached they flung themselves higher upon the rocks
What are you trying to tell me? I asked the sea as we are old friends
You must quiet yourself, an inner voice whispered.

I knew it was the inner goddess of the Atlantic Ocean.
So I paused in my walk and took time to sit upon the rocks.
Answers I had been seeking for months came into my mind.
Fresh starts, they showed me a new direction. I thanked the sea....

Pain
I contemplated the sorrow, grief and strife that
     causes so much pain.
And I looked at the diseases, accidents, and afflictions
     that affects the masses.
Everywhere I looked there was destruction and despair
     in my mind’s eye.
And then one sunny day I was strolling on the shores of
     the Atlantic Ocean
And I saw the sun as it dipped on the horizon in a clear blue sky with
the water rushing up to the sand and felt the light breeze that carried a
     seagull....

Bllowing Wind
The blowing winds

As the wind blows from the North Atlantic Ocean
We are in awe by its forces but also scared us
Know in its power we are small dust particles.
Defeated, we stand and wait for its destruction.

Up and up the mountain wave the ship climbed
Down its slope, it raced, and we could only wait.

The wind can be a friend too when it blows
Ashore on a hot summer’s day and not forget
The morning breeze that gently caresses steers
Us to walk on roads the zephyr has dressed....
