Abstract
Above all reason,
Benign,
Statistics more favourable,
Ticking time bomb in your head
Radiant sight,
Acrylics could suffice,
Combinations/mixed media,
Talented timeless classics....

Entranced by Beautiful Painting
the painting popped like fiber optics
like fluorescents, like neon acrylics
in hot pinks, magentas, turquoise and tangerines
with the precise amount of purples to make the hibiscus glow
I was entranced by this beauty!...

One Color At a Time
paint paint paint
swish swish swish
brushes enjoying themselves
used over and over
painting a plethera of colors
in swirls they begin creating a masterpiece
It appears one color at a time
paint paint paint
swish swish swish
brushes at work, loving their day job
are they using acrylics or oils?
only the artist knows
I watch in amazement
wondering what will happen next...

My studio is a messy mess
encouraging me to work on ten at a time
Yesterday I realized I have twenty-six waiting
without a drop of paint
I am working on twelve.
How long can this obsession last?

Hammy the Hamster
Hammy the Hamster had no particular talent that he knew.
He did have a long fat tail that spectacularly grew and grew
One day he fell into some paints, and his paws turned out blue.

You are an artist! His mother and father said, admiring him so.
They told every hamster from Des Moines to KoKoMo.
He has been featured in Art Magazines and has had a show.
His favorite paints are the psychedelic acrylics that really glow....
