James Fox

James has been rowing since he was aged eleven,
At Peterborough rowing club and at junior events,
But whilst at London Uni a crash sadly broke his back,
So that now he takes part in disability sports contests.

He’s a Legs, Trunk and Arms, LTA mixed cox four,
Racing with Grace Clough and also with Oliver Hester,
Pamela Relph, also Naomi Riches or Oliver James,
Who co-ordinates with cox efforts as he’s no jester.

In the 2014 Worlds in Amsterdam, the Nethherlands,
James with the team won the gold, patted the water,
And in 2015 at the Worlds in Alguebelette in France,
James won with the mixed team another gold garter.

And in the World Cup in Italy in the city of Varese,
In 2015 they collected yet another gold, tight rowing,
And in Rio they rejoiced for a very long few days,
After they took top spot again, owing to their training.

Daniel Brown

Dan started rowing in the year 2010,
When he needed a sports activity,
To enjoy having had a car crash, fen,
Which affected his ankle propensity.

The accident affected his wrists also,
But he tried it and could make rowing,
So he joined Reading Rowing circle,
Soon to join Upper Thames glowing.

He was a Little Heath school pupil,
From Reading, born November 1982,
Playing for Wokingham at football,
When the accident occurred, not due.

In 2012 he joined the British squad,
Which greatly influenced his efficacy,
Because in 2014 and 2015, baud,
He won gold at the Worlds sassy.

Dan rows in the LTA mixed cox four,
Normally with mates Grace Clough,
Pamela Relph, James Fox’s oar,
And with Oliver James the cox.

He helps the team to winning victory,
In a huge way each and every time,
And in Rio the five celebrated loudly,
When they won gold for their line.
