Negligently Poems | Examples

love from the underground

you are calling for me
with sweet melodies
from the underworld,
"Oh Persephone come back to me"
imbued with sobs,

negligently i slip into your arms -
how dantesque of me to
conjure an inferno upon me.

Premium Member Reencounter

Come to me again just once
You versed in that ancient science
Surely only known to those
Redeemed by the secrets
True remorse tightly holds

Let it soon gently be dissolved
In the fiery-waters of your sacred flask
What I have negligently become
Let that liquid-light leave me unrecognized
Even by all who´ll swear knew me once

Blessed thus this reencounter be
My lady dear from an unforgotten past
For the light there-by be born
Can only be of origin divine

Let me be the kind that states
When the work is really done
Destiny may be forged
All the rest is mere repetition
Of events in time

I need a vacation
from vacation unbreaks.

Bad Friday
falls seven days after spring break begins,
Which is a break for some kids
and teachers without kids,
but not for grandpa parent me,
and my sociopathic daughter,
who needs the structure of small
specialized classrooms
to get through her most resilient day.

It feels healing to step outside
into softer breezy voices
green with overly optimistic promise
that Everythin gonna be aright.

Rain threatens
yet wide patches of sky blue
promise western horizon hope,
for now

Faith that tomorrow,
which feels unforgivingly far from Now,
yet stuck in Here,
I will wake to compassionate forgetfulness,
lack of memory
of nearly all black bleak Fridays
transpired,
de-valued by my owned
and negligently managed
lack of parental investment
in larger self/other care;
that old ego/eco-balancing
narrow-way game.

Tomorrow,
just another Saturday/Sunday weekend,
between BadFriday wounds
and rainy Monday
school day blues
and jazz dance in the garden
with a Great Turning shovel.

Boston Legal

Boston Legal raises jurisprudence burdens of proof to a more realistic level
Observant fans of Bergen, Shatner, Spader, David Kelley could be seen as rebels,
Savoring games of assault and battery on real life large and small actualities
Testifying every act negligent or malfeasance and trivial grotesque fatalities.
Opinionated obscure minds, open up objectionable hearts and bankrupt eyes
Negligently embracing the politicians easily spoken but perjured lies.

Larceny lessons from history's changing more lenient laws is unmistaken
Evidentiary episodes expunge the human condition without real exoneration.
Guilty grievances gain feelings of raw emotional desire for monetary recovery
Arresting allegations appealing callous affidavits of due process inspired discovery
Legal litigations of ridiculous actions sequester every man's cross examination.

Corrupted Path

They scold me constantly
“I did not help”
They accuse me of being “arrogant”
When I do speak
They ignore me inconsiderately
The truth is
I do care of doing thee stuff
Solely
I do not receive help when needed
And nor shall help be returned
I sink in my wretchedness
And sleep with my sorrow
That part has become the part of me
So empty and hollow
I begin to think this life
Did thee erase any tracks that follow…,
My corrupted path?
Not to be followed
Not to be solved
Not to be loved
Not to be known
The thoughts twisted negligently in thee baffled mind
And though thee fates carry new tracks
With a sore throat and a twisted mind
I lay with an astray heart
Sinking into a sleep
Sinking into the shadowy black pitch night
Reflecting my emptied soul
Surrendering…
Never resisting the calm sense of serenity
