‘When you are not fed love on a silver spoon, you learn to lick it off knives.’
By Lauren Eden
Sadness
moodiness
and melancholy
gobbled me up like termites
when rude fate snatched away my mother.
Father, like a wing-clipped bird, fell dead almost.
Who will care for me, a little chick, amidst tempests?
Love! Love!
The strange thing
caused a strange feeling
of, as though lonely and lost.
I searched everywhere to find myself.
Did I thrive in my long, struggle-filled efforts?
Torments weighed down my heart often and drowned me down. Deep!
shadows out of sorts
wicked egos somber
crows on the wire
nature’s conductors
connived brouhaha
Where, I wonder, at this late hour,
are the poems that long I've lost?
There must be hundreds. I think of those
I once wrote then put aside that
I might preserve them for a while
then find again to gauge their worth --
change a word, rethink a line --
or, satisfied, simply let them be.
They all reflected "me" as I must have been,
way back then, when I wrote them.
A partial fragment -- a line or two --
pops up in memory to recall to me
who I was -- along with special "friends"
(and more than "friends") -- a time of troubles --
damages I inflicted on myself (and them) --
my moodiness, the walls I built around
me so very long ago. Yet still in my memory
are those "friends". They were all led on and
were all fled from, but are all remembered.
Those lost "verses", now, could occupy, comfort,
and perhaps distract me when innate despair
pervades my all-too-frequent solitary nights.
Summer turned to fall
leaves change colours
the warmth has left
like warmth of a life
leaving cool weather
a breath of death
like the moodiness of fall
a time of sorrow
news of sadness
death of a monarch
a beloved queen
who reigned supreme
a life given to service
just like seasons close
so ends her reign
God bless our queen.
Ain't that
What ah-man
Supposed to do
Treat you right and
Take care of you
Be there
And love you too
Baby
I'll take care of you
Some people believe
In loving the one you're
With
I ain't down on that shift
Making you laugh til
Your moodiness is gone
Maybe it right
Maybe its wrong
Ain't gone change the lyrics
To the song
What you did when we were
There darling act
Like you care
Remember me
I am the one
Who loves you
Remember me I am
The one who adores you
Keep me first and
Far most in your mind
Love is a little more
Than just being kind
Baby
Baby
I will take care
Of you
Ain't that

Vibrations escalates
Moodiness into ecstasy,
Vibes accelerates
Goodness for me.
Vibration emulates
Pleasure into release.
Vibe elates
Treasure of increase.
I belong to an abscondered valley...
Where people are squandered by the armed moochers...
The whimsical parasites are more bigoted than a malingerer...
A false dogma- to Shanghai , to deadlock and then to murder; is what they feel their pride on...
To witness massacres, mopes and moodiness is all what they yearn to flourish for...
The lewd creatures feel they are husky enough to eradicate anyone coming their dirty way...
To kill the husbands and maim the children; is what they feel is their timepass fun...
They ridicule the senile ones too,...
They are fiendish draftsman and a plague for the entire kind...
The time coming will surely make them pallid and relentless would the time be...
The devout would rise and finish the remaining flithe...
For I believe my home will be free as it once stood...
Bounded by mountains, the children will be busy playing hopscotch and hide and seek...
The lovers would be enjoying the early spring in the meadows so high and bright...
The Chinar leaves will bid a rustling goodbye...
The place called paradise would be synonymous withy valley...
For the fact ,..., it is actual heaven; if it exists on earth...
You say I'm complicated
but you're mistaking moodiness
for something deeper and pleated.
I'm very simple and straightforward.
Heartfelt thoughts for those willing to listen..
Your correct about those bluish demons
who come from the depths every now and again.
To headbutt the sun-give the present tension.
Bloody nose reminders of who's really in control..
In those times of prolonged silence is when I'm busy.
Jousting with them and wiping the blood...
From the nests of calmness and mirrors of clarity-
Contradictory
A sensitive empathic free spirit with periods of moodiness
My son daughter and boyfriend love and hate me for this
A unified world where love and equality rule my dream for them
I fear the approach of tomorrow with nervous anticipation
Promises broken unbearable consequences damage I can't repair
But the Pacific Ocean Joshua Trees and Redwoods call to me
Resident of this decaying mantle

A hot and humid day floats merrily on the seas
As tiny bikinis amble in sandy footprints
And frolic in the motives of soft ocean breeze
Building sand-castle dreams with playful hints
Hazy hues occupy the environs of a blue sky
As pouring rains flood the tapestry on the arc
When hurriedly blue herons lift-up and fly
Escaping before the flash of a thunderous spark
In a floral garden tempt lavender intimations
Where nearing their beehives honeybees swarm
Skipping the ambiance of fiery red carnations
Subdued by sudden outburst of a fleeting storm
Above the horizon now rainbow colors sprout
Glorifying the moodiness of this season's reign--
Gloominess takes its place when sun opts out
As sunshine comes and goes, and so does the rain
The long day cedes to evening, buzzing in the park
And there by the sidewalks pink rose-blooms sway
Charmed by the bird songs in mating calls of lark
As sunset paints ruby tinges upon a golden display
