One summer day Speedy Gonzales
met a very sweet girl named Alice
she liked his big yellow sombrero
it complemented her little bolero
A truckful of drunks
half-skunked boozers
gun racks in the back
unlucky losers
pulled up to the pumps
for a gallon or two
only high octane
tanked would do
then one had a bad itch
he started to scratch
wanted a smoke
and when he lit a match
the explosion was heard
three miles away
to arrive alive
do what they say
'Don't drink and drive'
and yes it's true
it could ruin your day
smoking is bad for you
I light the match
And watch the flame flicker.
The flame is bright,
A beautiful blue, orange and yellow.
I know that if I touch this flame
I’ll be burned. Perhaps scarred.
But as I stare at this dancing flame
All I can think of is the beauty.
So I reach out with my other hand,
Slowly, tentatively, purposefully.
But then I stop, look at the flame.
And I think about what I’m doing.
Then I drop the match.
I watch the flame, stare at it.
In the back of my mind hoping I don’t get burned.
Lift voice on air
Yell last hurrahs
Ball not come in.
Powerless jump
Tall guy rebound
Ball on long hand.
Point guard dribble
Pair by pair watch
Clock is ticking.
Score tied match
Desperate move
One sunk the three.

The timeless story told, in ' Beauty & The Beast ',
Is one of God's favorites ... to say the least.
Even though the faces may change, a thickened plot remains the same.
Bringing a smile to God's face, in his heavenly name.
Because love is ethereal, in its celestial pursuits.
Rising above the primal nature, and all other disputes.
Here lives old witch visionary,
Great-great aunt of Hermione,
H. Potter deemed not so great,
Rank amateurs do not rate,
She's happy in her pumpkin patch,
Conjured up a wizard match,
Her suitor's name is Ethelred,
Makes him feel really good in bed,
Across the moon-epic trips,
Maybe NASA needs wiccan chicks!
Cricketers playing on the lawn
White figures on the grass
The rhapsody of ringing phones
Is heard as passers pass
It’s just the picture of a large
Idyllic sunny day
Uneven shadows on the marge
Are also in the play
No pawns to sacrifice for kings
No queens rampaging free
The game looks peaceful, so it brings
A sense of peace to me
What if I tell them how their play
I see – you’re out of mind,
Get real, man, to me they’ll say
Its not a pantomime
We’re two competing teams, we came
To win and not to lose
And that’s the purpose of the game
We play not to amuze
Some idle fools that hang around
Not knowing what to do
Come down on the solid ground
That should be good for you
Thanks for advice, I like your game
But honestly, for me
Both teams of yours look quite the same
I’d say, before I flee
So really, what’s the point to know
The aim, all tricks and rules
If they are setting on a show
That looks like peace for fools.
To much love is to
Much hate in return also
Can't guess woman's thought.
When two halves of two hearts
Match as a whole
Lips were made to fit
Your eyes are a reflection of yourself
You think the same thoughts
At exactly the same time
Share the same interests
Love the same movies
And songs
Enjoy the same food
Look at each other and both smile
Resemble each other aesthetically
Feel the same
Laugh at the same time
Both love to hug
Both are moody and up or down
Both sense something coming
Before it's happened
Both love to walk in summer rain hand in hand
Share the same dream
Even talk and walk at the same pace
You are both givers
Have the same tastes
Been in the same places
At the same time
Before you met
You even smell the same
Have the same shoe size
And went to the same school
Have the same vision
The same drives
Then you have found perfection
And can dream on
Because despite many of us being perfectionists
Nothing is perfect
It doesn't exist
Just a word often heard.
They were going to play the animal match game again.
Josie was opposed, she always got matched with a fox.
Her hair and a fox’s hair being the same color.
She held off as long as she could.
This year will be different her grandmother assured her.
She was delighted to see what grandma had done.
She had specifically rounded up bunnies that matched Josie’s hair.
I could play this again next year if the bunnies would come back she said.
Unfortunately, a fox had chased them out of the game.
Rough n Tumble
At the Royal Rumble!
Sparkly tights
Some funny sights!
The excited kid's face
Their new favourite place!
Young upcoming acts
Jumping around like acrobats!
Behind the scenes though
Its not all for-show..
The veteran with taped up wrists
Sore back, busted nose
Watching as their career goes...
Their time in the limelight is running out
But for now, they'll enjoy the fans' shout
Sunset crimson kiss,
the vampire sets off the sky;
An unearthly match.
Born a rebel, proud and free,
A hard working man was he.
Stout of heart and quick of mind,
But hot tempered as you could find.
An Irish lad raised in Dublin,
For sure no one there be troubling.
Not one to run from a fight,
In the pub on Friday night.
Till the day he met his match,
A vixen who liked to scratch.
Angered when he made a pass,
Quite the looker was this Lass.
Smashed his head with a bottle,
Grabbed his throat and gave a throttle.
Clawed his cheek just like a cat,
Slapped him hard and then she spat.
All the while he took her wrath,
Chose to take a different path.
On his knees with bleeding head,
Made the case that they should wed.
Shocked with nothing left to say,
Happily married to this day.
Two souls who were once so wild,
Are soon to have their second child.
