Libera Poems | Examples

Libera

As the thorny vines that had me tangled up were torn
I felt a single tear roll down my cheek
I tasted the salt as more of them began to flow

As the weeds that crept up to destroy me were picked
I felt my whole body become overtaken with sobs
I gasped for breath as I realized I was still alive

As the branches that scratched and prodded were cut
I felt a new power arise in me as I stood
I was able to stand on my own and escape

As the feathers caressed me in a light embrace
I felt my arms open up
I felt them ache as I reached them to the sky

As the flower petals held and protected me
I felt myself fall into comfort
I knew I was finally safe

As the warmth of the sun shone and covered me in love
I felt myself being renewed as I basked in the light
I was free

The sun set and radiated its golden glow
I stood as a symbol of strength
A masterpiece of resilience, liberated and reborn.

Poder

Poder

Desde sempre
energia é poder
energia libera
a mentalidade
para alcançar
aquilo que quiser.

Nunca
Importa,
de que sangue,
raça, credo ou cor
você ou eu chega:
a mente
energizada
dá poder,
quebra os limites
e deixa livre
para fazer
mais e mais.

Emprego Ou Empreendimento

Emprego ou empreendimento

O parar escurece a vida;
e o sonhar ilumina isso.

O Emprego paralisa a vida;
e empreender libera isso.

O Salário confunde a vida;
e o lucro harmoniza isso.

Miss Andry

Miss Andry, you are truly a mystery.
You have Revealed yourself as Artemis and Lady of Ephesus to Many.
Miss Andry, you're mother nature that Roars like a lion and your voice thunders time after time.
Miss Andry, you're the root of most religions and goddess to many nations.
Miss Andry, you're the role model and idol to women all over the world, and even worshiped as queen of the Amazon women long ago.
Miss Andry, you're Strength was revealed when you transformed into your twin brother Apollo.
While Transformed into Libera, the goddess of Freedom, you have forgotten your attributes of Justice and Mercy.
Miss Andry, your Heart is cold and hard as the statue of liberty, not even a pickaxe can penetrate your disharmony.
Miss Andry, why do you treat me like you do?
Why do you blame me all the time?
Haven't I tried to love you through and through the passing of time?
Miss Andry, MIss Andry, How can I get through to you?

It's the Song That Moves Me

It was just past midnight. Another sleepless might. Wide awake, sifting through the memories, I felt an aching deep in my heart and soul. As I listened to the you tube playlist I had created for you.

First came Aaron Copeland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" not so common transitory reflection of what was your life. Sped quickly by in those last pain filled brief moments that still impact mine.
Play Evanescence "My Immortal" how ingrained was your life embraced by mine.
The unheard solemn cry of Terence Stamp singing Billy Joel's "Goodnight My Angel." It was here the tears did exude and inundate my eyes with sobbing whispers of our final goodbye.
The haunting melodies and words resounded a song sung with innocence by Libera and the hope to be held once more by "I Am the Day" followed hypnotically be Mary Fahl's "Going Home."
Let the songs play.
Let the tears flows.
Let your memory return.
Let me dream of what we had.
Let life continue although it be without you.
Close the book, end the poetry, let it rest as I give in.
Dan Schutte's "Here I Am Lord".

El Amor Es Libertad

El amor es libertad
Amarte me da alas y me libera

On Many Things

It was a voice in my head
A whisper in my ear
A sound I've come to dread
A thing I've come to fear
It was the look in its eyes
On a face whiter than snow
Seeing through all my lies
Uncovering that I do not show
It was the power in its stare
Showing what I don't want to see
Saying your time is near
And you can neither hide nor flee
It was the words it said
Creeping into me in a whisper
Telling me that she is dead
Telling me I know I'll miss her
It was what it forced me to see
Things I've hidden away with denial
Things I said I'd never be
For which I'll surely stand on trial
It is what I will become
A thrall of the shadow
Death's own son
Libera nos a malo!!!
It is what I feel
Black bleak sadness
Pain I wish wasn't real
Driving me to the brink of madness
It is what I stand for
My prerogative
The urge to always be more
My reason to live
