the Gotham man

the Gotham man
He is so wealthy, perhaps the richest man
In the world, he enjoyed his lucre and sired
A dozen of male and female children
He has reached middle age, and his youth has
Gone the body, no longer as elastic as before
He has realized, as many men before him
 that
Life has a time limit
Great wealth is also power speaks; we listen when
A rich man voices his opinion he has thrown
himself into body politics, perhaps confusing
Opinions as truth
The problem is he has yet to learn the language
Of diplomacy and is on his way to acquiring
Powerful enemies on his journey to solve
The world’s myriad problems
I believe he is a good person at heart
has to learn business and politics collide
His to be wary of hangers-on who follow him
On his road, but will leave him quickly should
disaster strike
His colossal wealth is a burden, a certain
Tiredness on his face, we can call depression.
A slight irritation in his voice; why can we not
Understand him better?

Binoculars

I used to stunt like a Stunt man only to lose limbs and then l realized this was not Stunt city.

So l ran off to Gotham city with exception of Bruce Wayne only to live by the illusion of Joker.

I wonder why the stories of many men end up as of one man?

This game we play for oxygen will have you scarred if you allow it to take your breath away so exhale for a moment to really inhale .

So I picked a book shying away from Captain Hook for knowledge is might, l washed the crust off my eyes in order to fly a kite so far l have to reach the sky.

Premium Member Halloween In Gotham City

Let’s have a party and invite our nemesis, Robin suggested one day.
Let’s have it on Halloween and invite all of them Batman said in a nice way.
So they decided to open the Wayne Mansion to every diabolic creature and pal.
Invitations were distributed to every enemy of the city, and each enemy’s gal.

The refreshments were Alfred-designed in the shape of gargoyles and bats.
Spider web plates of Frankenstein cheese and pumpkin grog made in vats.
A cauldron in the corner had a secret camera that took photos of the guests.
Werewolf, Frankenstein and his bride, and Dracula came dressed in their best.

The hit of the night was the old happy, enthusiastic monster song Monster Mash.
Werewolves went crazy. Frenzied, and ugly, they tore up the cover door cash.
I didn’t need it anyway, Batman said to Robin, so settle down. Okay?
It was the best party Gotham City had ever had, back in the day.

A Winter's Day In Gotham

Attended a poetry reading
    on a cold day
in Gotham
A pianist played Chopin Scarlatti and Debussy
Heard a lecture about Anti - Facist poets
of the 1940's
       Along with other poets
and a humorous piece about Trump
I got up and read my verse
Six poems to some applause
Read a limerick that I wrote
about Middle Earth
All in all a nice day!

Unusual Occurrence In Gotham

The news brings
tales of murder and mayhem
Yet city dwellers persist
in living their lives here
to the fullest
They go to restaurants, plays, movies, museums
and concerts as well as poetry readings
Gotham has its delights
There are dangers in this city
But wise inhabitants
avoid them
And continue "living it up "
in the "Big Apple"
Today the weather is nice
It is sunny and warm
I think that there may be
an unusual occurrence in this metropolis today
Hope it is something positive!

Gotham

Why...
Why did I even live here?
Why am I in this place that have darkness?
A place where only cruel can takeover
Cruel people kill for a living in the streets
They rape , because they thought its a joke to them
Gangsters rule the government
No even the men in blue were able to stop this chaos
What kind of city is this?
Good grief....
Hmmm I guess this place is meant to be in hell after all
Yep the place we all love Gotham City.

Gotham City

GOTHAM

The brothels are terrible in Gotham City
and do little excuses
no one is safe from a bite
there in the shadows where the bodies are dried
from morning until evening, and where three channels in black and white and a touch of reality is structured
-Gotham-

There are four patriarchal figures making waves
and gigantic shadows behind them
dormant in the darkness
and where I see the Patriot Village
who believe blindly in what they say news
the repeating word for word what he believes is true
there in the corner surreptitious
-Gotham-

This is the sunset in Gotham city
a small town
those who are the least damaged in times of crisis
Ay! my Gotham

Welcome to Gotham
if you want to run away if you want to mourn

Gotham City, San Francisco

Just one little brave boy and an entire city
Gave this heart so much joy in seeing such glee
For Bat Kid has arrived to fight for all the children
A true fighter who survived and a hero among men

For they came from near and they came from far
But one thing was clear it was a glimpse of who we are
With so much love in the air and such a true spirit of joy
A whole city took the time to care for this one little boy

In his cape and Batman mask and his hero by his side
The whole city would bask oh that Golden Gate pride
Lining every single street and cheering so constant and loud
Getting a whole nation to their feet boy San Fran we are proud

And as for little Miles my new favorite Super Hero
Showing how most of our trials basically add up to zero
Thank you for your example putting such courage on display
The blessing of you is so ample as seen in this glorious day
