Premium Member For the science averse'

When health scares are touted.' Check saftey rules are not
Flouted, or all futures may well end up being worse.'
My advice is; try not to be (too science averse)!

A Hanging Fruit

In a lea, he saw a ripe, sagging mango fruitlet
Fruitlet, he decided to approach, touch and pick
Pick a fruitlet whose man he flouted

Flouted owner but he knew he was larceny
Larceny of a fruit, ripe or not, he hit it on ground
Ground with grass or naked, he was no care

No care but should plant his own tree
A tree to kill his strong desire
Desire of harming fruits hanging on a tree
A tree another man planted

Poem by N. Mugisho

Deal

We had a deal
And I cooperated with zeal;
Thinking it was real.

You gave me no dime,
Yet you stole my precious time;
This I read like a rhyme

Or even if you paid me,
That was little, very little;
I could not with it fill my tea kettle.

I gave you trust and loyalty
But you gave me distrust and disloyalty;
My commitment you rewarded out of inequity.

At heart I held you as myself
But you treated me like your chef
Meats stewed in a greedy pot while you did jeff.

Why then did we have the deal,
When to have everything is your meal,
That I struggle today because of your selfish will?

Disappointed!
I wish to be anointed
To discern deals flouted.

Premium Member Red

Red blood was shed as their land was taken
Red graves lie unmarked behind shuttered schools
Treaties flouted through Parliament's rules
With redskins confined to reservation
Red songs unsung and red tongues forgotten

Tear off the scab of self denial
Beneath the skin all our blood is red
Together mourn unforgotten dead
Canada's past is now on trial
Time to reright the Indian File.

It's Canada Day here tomorrow but like many I find myself dwelling on the darker aspects of our history.

Premium Member Beware the Shepherd

While jurisprudence illustrates through brief,
the bureaucrat stands verbal in reply.
To pillage righteous freedoms like a thief,
they fan malfeasance tethered to a lie.

Incitement is the weaponry of choice
for inspiration fanning despot flames,
autocracy inflects within the voice
to emphasize the fabricated claims.

When treachery lies hidden in pursuit
of public trust or monetary gain,
a blind belief leaves reason in dispute
to dispossess such mutinous disdain.

Beware the quislings, quick in repartee,
with flouted oaths that lend to vagrant creed,
for in their wake, the demagogues will plea
constituents were partners in the deed.

Is not a vote the voice behind the lead,
is not a gathered flock thy shepherd’s keep?
For voices served are culpable in deed,
and what they cultivate so shall they reap.

Though, but a bit more goodness lights
the night than evil bids to dim the human heart,
morality must lean into this fight
if e’er to let benevolence impart.

Its Australia Day

It’s Australia’s day
We all cheer and say
A barbecue with lamb and beer
Is the plan we adhere

But now some exclaim
It’s a day full of blame
For we invaded their country
Aborigines owned it you see

For us it was a day
With no sin in our way
They want to change it now
For another day to take the bow

The day of Federation is touted
And ANZAC Day is not flouted
They say the 26th January is NSW alone
But the argument will not be gone

It seems that we are used to the 26th January
As it fits into summer holidays easily
So I’m for leaving it as the usual one
And not let our nationalism be undone.

Premium Member Nobody Came

The mist ooozed
the echo to one way.
It was so dark and dank
my breath stank, impaled
by will–o'–the–wisp
mirage, flickering
candle-like, remote.

Ghosts-like swirls arose
through the mist, but nobody
came.
Silence pierced and
popped up, but nobody
came.
Storm abated, flood
flee flouted, but nobody
came.

I lay damp and dying, crying
for having lied about where I was going —
fault and blame, and never knowing
lay beside me, nobody
came.

Novelty Item

was just a
novelty item
within the minds
of the crowd that
had gathered to
watch the show
unfold right in front
of their eyes full
of disbelief
there stood two
hearts flouting above
the ground
then out of no were
one came crashing down
turning to dust
disappearing into thin air
afterwords the remaining
heart flouted away into the distance
without a second look

Premium Member The Law Is Not An A---: Guess Who Is

The fact that any society needs laws, rules and regulations is proof absolute of the failings of humanity,
The fact that any of these laws, rules, and regulations are flouted by so many is proof ultimate of human abnormality.

Wind of Change

Wind of Change

There's a wind of change blowing across the land,
God is ready to make changes, the hour is at hand.
Adam was cast out for he flouted God's command,
Eve was kicked out with him, for doing the snakes demand.
Now God has lost His gardener, he walks there now alone.
The world was left to fend for itself and now it must atone.
Your heart is now God's garden, it's where He plants His seed,
If you are faithful to His word, your life here will succeed.
The church that God requires is not of bricks and wood,
It's in the hearts of his children when they are doing good.
If you attend a church that's tinder dry, depart from it with grace,
A home group we found, is biblical and by far a better place.
There's a wind of change blowing across the land,
God is ready to make changes, the hour is at hand.
A winnowing is coming, the wheat from the chaff will separate,
For no one knows the hour we will arrive at Heavens Gate.

The
Door
Was closed
Forever
Leaving behind all
The memories gathered through the
Pass of time for decades in the flouted and forced bond
That shattered in the floor as a glass bottle jilting evermore a flawed alliance

Premium Member A Real Facade

I flouted my knowledge ostentatiously,
But I found no one cared what I came to be.
It’s not the façade they wanted to see,
They just wanted to see; the real me.

Silent Whispers

I came across a path
I peered and wondered
Where's this leading to
Has life suddenly betrayed me
The silence of my thoughts
That says look within you
And you shall find
I came across a crossroad
Of vintage and dismay
I came across shame and disgust
I wondered in my silence
Has life suddenly turned on me
Has life suddenly flouted on me
Through the silence
Through the terrains
Through the commosions.
Who am I in this unravelled turmoil
Turmoil of the soul
Turmoil of the mind
Silent whispers whisked and smiled
Confide not, for it is in this broken dreams
that you shall equivocate
To eternal gratuity.....

Kite Flight

KITE FLIGHT

Kite flying over the river
Lofty floating yellow girl
With fluttering sail a-quiver
And her tail in a fleeting swirl

Her paper lungs with air she’d inflate
And flitter near the clouds with ease
Sometimes flirty, and rising taut
Then flying flat, riding the steady breeze

Flattering it with her beauty flaunted
Seeming to flit in and out of the sunlight
She flouted the ground, scorned it, taunted -
Oh, it was a glorious flight !

Misspelled words and drawn remarks lend palatable distinction to the AIR
surrounding this
poems. The meaning of a word takes from the birth of the word as of a noun then applied in
a misdirection as the adverb or worse the verb herself. Never in the outrage of this history
of mankind will this poetry be repeated in this repetitive manner as this repititious drivel
indicates. The person who pens these odious smears at justice is not human. No mere mortal
could diatribe the snow or crucify a flower in the manner of a flouted lout outside the relm of
possiblitites. Eye suggest to the reader ewe not to waste your time your very valuable bean
time in a vain attempt at deciphering elements long non descript and void unless related to
Poetry or forced to give Critique.
