If I had a dollar for every time;
I’ve sin I be a billionaire;
If I had a dollar taken away by God;
Because of those sins;
I’ll be impoverished;
So I went to the Bank of Jesus;
We’re covered by FDIC?
(Father’s Deliverance in Christ Jesus)
I also got a loan for my new home in heaven;
A home that’ll be my mansion;
Only credit I needed was repentance;
So I got eternal payment plan;
Now I’m neither rich nor poor;
I am just a once sinner freed sanctified saved by grace;
I have no need for monies, got Jesus promises;
~a loan for Grace

Back To Keeping Money Under the Mattress?
By Elton Camp
Way back before there was any FDIC
People, of banks, were leery as can be
For if your bank had to shut its door
Your money was gone forevermore
Now that banks charge a monthly fee
Many keep cash at home as that’s free
With the economy in such a bad shape
A monthly bank charge folks can’t take
Some rather risk being robbed by a thief
Than to let the greedy banker bring grief
Better to keep money in a rubber band
Than into the banker’s grasping hand
The big banks have mostly lost our trust
Small local banks or S&L are now a must
Keeping large amounts of cash isn’t wise
But that people do shouldn’t bring surprise
