What Is Love

What is love?
We live in a generation where
sex is easy to find
yet when it comes to love
we struggle.

We're so attracted to the opposite
and to the new
but each time we wonder why
one of us always leaves
broken and with walls
higher than the last

We claim that the past hurts
and we have scars from those
that just didn't work
so how come we always reach for the same
lies and betrayal?

We say love is nothing more but
a broken record
this is another false statement of
a lost generation
we in fact are the broken record
not love

love itself is beautiful
love is knowing the person you are with
understands you more on a mental level
than they could ever care to know you on a
physical crave
love is spending your forever with your best friend
without the need of labels
or acceptance
love is simply love

My Love Story

et me begin the amorous tale of my love
story,
In seven of ages a heartrending pillory,

With maximum make believe of childhood
love,
Cycling after her with no worry,

To the taste of truffles and muffin,
Felt her each wave sweet to savory,

On slide following her with peeping eyes,
Seeking a vivacious look till I touched the
teen glory,

With shorthanded life and full of misery,
Couldn’t even bought a gift or flowery,

But could promise to honor love for life,
And this ain’t false statement of
stipulatory,

At mid of twenty two, with smashing and
evaporating love,
Still remembered cherish liped smile of
amatory,

ory,

And snake of love has now bitten my
heart,
The anti-dote is her smile whether it might
be illusory,

Hence the feelings pining and revolving in
mind,
As gravitation, influence everything
stimulatory,

In cold night with shattering fog and
cracking leaves
Shahid is right here with a flowery and
Sorry.

Living Lie

what do u do when you're living a lie
and no matter how fast you run
or where you go there's no place to hide
as you try to survive
pain like being burned alive from the inside
they say after a while you become what you pretend to be
but that is a false statement for me
i pretended to be unbreakable but i'm broken by the memories i see
i'll never be free
and i dont even know how i started living a lie
hell who can play mind games better than i
most people struggle in mind games and i dont even try
yeah im a prick
im a dick
i make people sick
both physically
and mentally
turning people suicidal is an easy trick
look there i go again
why do i always commit the same damn sin
i guess its because its been
used on me by a girl i weigh a 10
and i pretend i dont care
but i do its just life isn't fair
and my views and opinions count nowhere
i'm so out of place its like i'm drowning in air
where do i belong
why are all my beliefs wrong
why did i hide for so long
why is it all comming out now
while i'm stressed out because i don't know how
i'm gonna complete this task im assaigned
true friendship is hard to find
