Premium Member Wedding poem Wedding Vows

May we forever be lovers,
May we forever be friends,
And should we hurt each other,
May we quickly make amends.

May we enjoy our passion,
But never let compassion die,
Thinking in selfless terms as we,
Never emphasising I.

May we forever be soul-mates,
May our love eternally last,
May the food of love sustain us,
May we never have to fast.

May we use each other’s strengths,
When we are feeling weak,
May we both learn to compromise,
And always as one voice speak.

May we never keep dark secrets,
May we never tell each other lies,
May we both work unceasingly,
To ensure our love never dies.

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

The Earlier the Better

In these troubled times,
What should we be telling our children about life,
That gives them the tools they need,
To navigate a path away from fear,
Away from drugs,
Away from comfort food,
Away from thoughtless acts,
Away from gangs, and those prey on the vulnerable,
Away from all the things that lead to feeling,
Useless, hopeless, with anger frustration,
Taking them down the path of negativity, envy, jealousy,
Which can only end badly for them and those who care,
For them the most.

In these troubled times,
When we ourselves are struggling with the exact same issues,
It is never too early to talk about choices,
The good ones and the bad ones,
That got us where we are today,
And made us the people we have become.

In these troubled times,
It is never too early,
To choose to talk about choices,
In simple terms,
Emphasising our own struggles,
And how we would never have made it though,
Without support from others who cared enough,
To talk to us about choices and their consequences.

Frank Stela was so postpainterly
an abstractionist as you can see*
emphasising 'flat surfaces' nothing more
rejecting emotional gesture thats for sure

Premium Member John the Baptist

This man born of Zachariah and Elizabeth
who named him John as was told
by Gabriel who stood in presence of God
sent from heaven with a message of gold

Then 30 years later John preached
in the wilderness about the kingdom of God
emphasising the need for people to repent
as he prepared the way for the Lord

Many people came to John in the Jordan
to be baptised confessing their sins
but seeing Jesus he pointed to God's lamb
for his forgiveness came from the king

Jesus summed up John's life well
in John, no one born has been greater
than this humble man sent to forthtell
for he stood faithfully being no traitor

Emphasising My Feelings

Images for everything,
Signs with ripe symbols,
Visuals about anything,
With no long preambles.

Instant recognition,
Vital shapes in miniature,
Evoking that retention,
By a certain curvature.

My feelings emphasised,
My thoughts are taken,
They’re compartmentalised,
So that i do awaken.

Holographs like hieroglyphics,
Emphasise what’s said,
With prominent specifics,
That make a fine bed.

My holographic cactus,
Let my feelings out,
To talk about apparatus,
Jaggy, sharp, and with clout.

Laughter In Autumn

Winter awaits the peak of time,
as summer just ended revoultion.
Morning dew frosts the individual pricks of grass,
emphasising the slight decline in climate of the night before.
The sun too reflects change,
holding above the horizon less and less,
narrowing todays light from the day before.
Warm expulsion of built up air shadows it's existance,
Devouring itself into a hidden state.
The sun's almost silent for this day,
tomarrow it will pass with less delay.
