Monocrostic (Birthday of Analyn DL Coronacion)
Lost dolls, forgotten in the attic,
Neglected and left to gather dust,
Their once-loved beauty is losing its magic.
Their appeal is fading as fashions adjust.
But one day, they were rediscovered.
Their box opened with a gasp of surprise.
Among the dolls, one had been recovered.
Her timeless charm, with no compromise.
She was not like the others, you see.
Her beauty was not based on trends.
Her allure was not ephemeral or fleeting.
And her appeal would never depend.
Her porcelain skin was still flawless.
Her hair still shone like a golden sun.
Her eyes still sparkled with enchantment.
She was a treasure, second to none.
And so she was dusted and polished.
And displayed in a place of honor,
The timeless doll was cherished.
Her value is forever a wonder.
In a world that's ever-changing,
life, with such love wide-ranging.

aesthetically art made him feel
Visual pleasure in great detail
with a 'butterfly'*he left a trail
rather than as a snail

The sea is a wild feast -
my heart in breast beating.
The sea, a hungry beast,
tug of war competing.
My feet dissolve in its wake.
I wade out to meet the waves.
Ebb and flow of friendship.
Salty air above my waist.
The wind sloshes my lips.
My cheeks, a blush sunbake.
I dive into the sublime sea.
Turquoise eyes of treachery
allow my vivacity and glee;
kindness swashed with brevity.
Breathless - make no mistake,
I listen to mermaids’ environs,
avoid pitfalls’ overconfidence,
cover ears, stave off sirens,
not greedy for DL opulence.*
Finless and feckless mistake,
if I find myself too far from shore,
arms and foam in dosido,
afraid and pleasured by the roar -
in fearful pretense, I’m paddling slow.
For the dorsal fin of ship, I ache.
Calypso music distracts on deck.
I leave my lover far below unchecked.
Climbing like a pirate to wreck
the captain’s safety, the sea at my neck.
Drowned in seaweed silk; bound and awake.

Digital age, digital technology, digital people
Digital adds to life
Digital subtracts from life
But why?
Because:
People make things
People change things
People use things
People abuse things
So:
Digital education for everyone
Then:
Digital technology for everyone
Young and old, rich and poor, here and there
Reboot society
Reboot life
Reboot digital!

every time i reach out
you pull away
i wish you could see me
instead of your past
i'm not who you see
i'm someone who's just me
i can't be what you're afraid of
i can only be me
i know you've had a rough time
but so have i
even though i can't be everything
at least i try
i'm not who you see
i'm someone who's just me
i can't be what you're afraid of
i'm only me
i hope you think it over
and give me an honest chance
i'm not who you see
i'm someone who's just a girl
i can't be what you're afraid of
i can never be her...
