Fear Only Fear

Afraid to ask
Afraid to cast
Afraid to hear
Afraid of jeer

Fear is delaying truth
Fear is growing from youth
Fear is reliving the past
Fear is irrational typecast

Asking diffuses fear
Talking reduces veering
Trying clears fear
Chose to steer

“Blue moon you saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own.” Lorenz Hart

                                  Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

                                     What an extraordinary eyesight
To gaze at a blue moon with delight
With its wonderful shine in the sky
That dazzles the iris of the eyes.

Eyes, indeed, are lured with such relish
Sky with such tints diffuses great bliss
Delight flows from the heart of viewers
Sight of such beauty charms good suitors.

Such scenes sink deep in the memory.

Ecstasy And Agony

Like a huge pride of lions roaring at ease
From a hidden cavern in the distance ,
The disturbed robust sea diffuses resonance -
In an infinite expanse of sonorous breeze

The heavy, grey clouds gathering above ,
Let out at times , the bright silvery line ,
Now by chance to smile and then to decline,
Bracing the dismal spirit and hope somehow

All along and everywhere the fit of feel --
The relentless wild beat and serene symphony
Turns into the note of remorse and agony  ;
Lived moments pass into the coffer to retreat

What ails one standing before the sea at large ,
Is it the inner reflection of the distressed soul
Or the enigma that covers life on the whole ?
May be the pelagic domain has its own surge

The eerie bearing of contained life all around
Seems to be centred in the rhythm of some
Cosmic order and muse of uniform humdrum
In the extreme ecstasy again is agony found !

Piece of Me

A piece of me in my journal,
My struggles in the internal,
The recalcitrant night to fight,
Oh Lord, halo me with your light.

I sojourn through a land of gloom,
The unseen permeates my room,
My soul deeply longs to take flight,
Oh Lord, halo me with your light.

Twilight diffuses my chamber,
Time has not aided its slumber,
The untold is veiled from my sight,
Oh Lord, halo me with your light.

The Scent of Reading

The scent of reading,
It pervades our chambers,
The dew of knowledge,
It moisturises our being.

The scent of reading,
It diffuses into a hidden part,
Concealed in our subconscious mind,
Stealthily it comes to the fore when needed.

The scent of reading,
Like the aroma of flowers in spring,
It envelopes us,
We glide in its richness.

The scent of reading,
The luxury of its fragrance,
It chauffeurs through the door of insight,
We're haloed by its light.

The scent of reading,
It gladdens the heart,
We take flight on the wings of knowledge,
We're embellished with stars.

~The fog's thin veneer
             masquerades the crimson dawn
         and diffuses the opaque light
as it peers into the ebony hour.
How did I find you, hidden
 amidst this black morning haze?
You, my deceased angel,
and I, the rhombus crucifix
sutured into dark obscurity,
 are creatures of the night.
  Your unscrupulous heart
     is but mere stone,
        and though it stilled
            for night eternal,
                 your death shall be
                      my only true love.

~ For tolerance, approved by righteous air,
such wasted breath to pray that you exist,
a bigot's faith lends reason to despair
as redolence diffuses in a mist.
Though still I pray, let sufferance unfold
through due accord in aspirations sought,
and for the world, bear dogma all behold,
and chains of persecution ne'er be wrought.
But hypocrites shall tender with reprise
the gift of true salvation in their plight.
Beneath a cloak, these devils in disguise
shall steal away the gift of freedom’s light.
Autocracy has donned a righteous veil
to let the creed of prejudice, prevail.

One fact doesn't change;
but some facts do as we age,
and memory fades.

Diane Sawyer

Love Wave

love is a wave
         that diffuses
          by the cosmos,
           to capture it
           any
            radio
             heart
                tune it...!

Eyes touch softly, bridging the looming space
Magnetic connect instantaneous
Two hearts go aflutter by divine grace
Electric explosion spontaneous

Courtship teasing, playful and ecstatic
An enchanting embrace fortuitous
Boy and girl in blissful trance eclectic
The chemistry between them beauteous

Wheel of time diffuses not the current
Depth of love unconditional strengthens
As rapture renews itself each moment
Years and seasons go by; their love heightens

Soul mate or twin flame, no labels assigned
Love pristine may not by mind be divined

Lavender

Lavish pink mingles in purple pastures
An amalgam of foam in seraphic blue
Vena cava diffuses mauve melancholy
Effulgent splashes lulling tidal shores
Nostalgic desires flutter in savoir-faire
Droning all drowsy, a fragrant love affair
Enchanted bells tinkle, as bees meander
Ripples of essence in vales of lavender.

I Walk Alone

I WALK ALONE
by
JOHN M. ARRIBAS

I Walk Alone on this Unexplored Path
Fate Torments Me with Pain Filled Wrath
There Is No Sunrise: There Is No Dawn
I, a Helpless Creature: a Passive Pawn
Agony Diffuses Me, What Is It I Owe?
Is There Any Jubilation for Me to Know?
Have I Been Cursed, for an Unpaid Crime?
With Endless Mountains for Me to Climb

Challenges Constantly, Erode My Will
With Tortuous Tasks, I must Fulfill
I Lack the Ability to Exit the Abyss
I Welcome the Day of the Final Kiss
This Painful Journey Must End Someday
With Nary a Mention, I Passed this Way

hedgerows greenup-
nature's pastiche
awakens from winter sleep.

Quiet greets the Spring morn,
a shaft of light diffuses night

snow melts slowly-
a trickle,unseen,runs free
begins a new spring
#

A babbling burn ,riverine unseen,
a stream of freshwater silts sloping banks
the current slows to-
eddys, where fat chubb doze.

Quiet greets the Spring morn,
a shaft of light
diffuses night into -
a dawn chorus.

Amid the eerie dayspring light
yesterday's memories glow so bright
#

blossoms a welcome
springtime emblem-
the foretast of fruitage
to come
