Cannibalism Poems | Examples

Bite

Throbbing, concave marks
adorn my skin—records of
your hunger, sated only by
the meat of
my body.

Though the pain is sweet—craved,
fulfilling—and my blood rushes
to provide you with drink,
my head—detached,
neglected—wanders.

Tell me, if the flesh fell away
like tender rib meat off of the bone—
would you still ache to sink your teeth
into the me
that remained?

The Dinner

Tis' a calamity
A dinner, to which I must oblige
For it was a request of my family
To whom I cannot deny

Mother welcomed me in warmly
Her expression rather wry
Father is late and will be back shortly
And to her I cannot defy

Take a seat, back arched upright
The aroma of Mother's cooking is brimming with life
Mother vigorously encourages me to take a bite
My dear Mother, whom I cannot deny

The chewy meat is roasted dry
With each bite against his flesh
Crimson seeping from Father's eyes
But this is a request of darling Mother, whom I cannot deft

Lest I wish to end up like him

home-made meal

You can eat me alive from the inside out:
rip my skin away and chop my bones.

I'll let you choke down my flesh and
slit my tummy.

Just hang me upside down
and let my blood drain.

Maybe you'd make dinner,
put my little body in a pot

and serve it to them steaming:
in those china plates from TV.

but mummy: I'd make a pig sick.

Mmm!
I ate a Cracker!
Crackers taste good!
Now I'm a cannibal.

Humpty Gets Bumped

envelope rhyme

Humpty Dumpty, brave fall guy
attended the King's Christmas ball.
He never guessed his downfall,
empty headed, brain gone awry.

Humpty Dumpty's sneaky try,
bucking the Queen's serving line,
“Expelled! out back, you shall dine!”
close by yon royal pig sty.

Humpty Dump, give us a clue,
"Why did you behave so rudely?"
Your etiquette, so crudely
like a simple, naïve ingenue.

Humpty Dumpty then stone-walled
devouring a dozen eggs
plus twenty-four chicken legs
Sprawled thither on stone wall, he stalled.

Thus, Humpty Dumpty got bumped,
a bold nudge from one palace horse:
"Noble king cannot endorse
a cannibal, so totally stumped.”

Forward... for those of you rather younger than I, Soylent Green was a movie in which overpopulation was reduced by making people into biscuits... yes really!

SOYLENT RED

It’s dark and it’s drizzling
The burgers are sizzling
We’re toasting the baps in the grill
No creature was injured
For Ted couldn’t be cured
The virus had made him too ill

And once he was panting
And ceaselessly ranting
His sister conducted the kill
We skinned him then rinsed him
Then auntie Maud minced him
But then at the door, the old bill

He stood in our porch
with his baton and torch
And that was the end of that copper
Before we could carve him
We needed to halve him
Which Benjamin did with his chopper

The world now unclean
Full of horrors obscene
With no cure for this human blight
So we off them and scoff them
But two don’t come often
So no-one goes hungry tonight

Beyond Simple

Simple Simon met a cannibal
Going to the fair...

He never made it

Cannibalism - Re-Edited

Raped and left for dead
Tears still running down her eyeless head
Screaming her heart out,
Which's been removed and stacked into my mouth
I can still see your skin peel
Orgasming on the fact your wounds won’t heal
I only need my grinding teeth to make you paste
Shut the hell up and let me eat you in haste

Cannibalism

Cannibalism

Eat the body
To gain salvation
Eat your neighbor
Go to jail

Cannibalism

Leapers in hot tub

Floats fingers and toes

What’s for supper- Stew!

Autumn Cannibalism (1936)

Heads propped aloft by the crutch of dogmatic belief,
savoring each other, feasting upon flesh--
     knife and fork,
     delicate spoon.

Each course far from complete, they gorge through
eroded faces, evidence of features strewn to rot in the
     panic of the fading sun.

Hugging like chums until folded into one writhing
mass, they remain dexterous enough to balance an apple:
     proof of perilous symmetry.

In the distance, the white mission weeps under the
weight of the impending torrent.
Even the mercy of the mountains
can't protect from the ruin of man.

Zen and the Art of Cannibalism (Or, Serial Killer Senryu)

Unseen hungry ghost
Predator in human skin
Lurks among the herd

Some folks drool for lamb
Others beef, but I prefer
The *other* red meat

Arcing silver edge
Slices a dark horizon
Full moon or my knife?

God's hand carves the earth
Canyon river running red
Metaphor in flesh.

Blood on my good shirt:
I just had this damn thing cleaned!
People are so rude.

Sleek steel crimson-graced
Open window into you
Pericardium!

Fresh-plucked beating heart
Just like a ripe tomato
Crush it in my jaws

Warming up the grill:
Home-made chuck on seeded buns.
Long pork for dinner!

Gleaming white arches
Spin around the spinal cord
Horseshoe, played with bones.
