Yorick 'tis Not, Alas

Tho' not with a dagger in the library
nor candlestick in the conservatory
someone done the dirty deed
and yet of bodies none were found
perhaps the evidence had been concealed
interred deep down underground
so no one's doing time
it was eventually revealed
for the heinous crime
of thuggery and skullduggery
terrible as it may be
where the skeletons are buried
only the gravedigger knows
and after all allegedly it was purportedly
merely a murder of crows

guide deceased on their journey,
witness teary eyes, turn blurry

watch over eulogy speech,
offering authentic peace

vibrant, fiery complexion
wavering hue protection,

assisting ghost invitations
observe vital declarations,

seal high status documents
letters, scrolls, for the president

crimson, custom made stamps
back when candlesticks lit lamps,

religion exchange light for money ~
honour souls, lost down on one knee

centrepieces chaperone romance,
Capturing a tender glance

scented aromatherapy
meditation, calm, serenity

comforting memorial shrines
befriends a glass of blush wine,

sheen lustre uplifts sorrow ~
hope for a brighter tomorrow

Premium Member Oh Why Not Let Your Candlestick Shine

Oh! Why not let your candlesticks shine?
All of you redeemed sons and daughters
Of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the true
Candlelight. Basking in the glow of his
Shining candlestick. Illuminating
Brightly for the whole wide wonderful
World to see!

Oh! Do not hide your candlelight!
Do not stop shining brightly admits.
The darkness of the night time sky.
Now is not the time to shut your eyes.
Behold his stars are twinkling like
Diamonds in the night time sky.
Really makes you even wonder why?

Oh! Do not hide your candlestick!
Do not like Satan put it out!
Keep it it lite so the world may
See your good works and
Glorify your heavenly Father!
We love him because he
First loved us! Spread
The gospel light!

And let your gospel light
Keep on shinning from
Shore to shore. And
sea from shining sea.
Keep on telling the
Old old story of Jesus
And his mercy and love!

Love in Christ Jesus!

Premium Member Let Your Light Shine

Oh! Please let your candlelight shine amidst the darkness.
In order for the whole wide wonderful world we would
dearly love to see. Will see and understand your moral clarity.
And will desire to come to the guiding candlelight. The
person of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Receiving
his uniquely free gift of everlasting life.

Oh! Please let your candlelight shine amidst the darkness
of the world. People will come into the sanctuary of
the lighthouse of Jesus Christ. He will guide you
safely through the wintery storms throughout the
rest of your life. No matter whatever storms may
be on their way. Jesus Christ will abide with you always.

Oh! Please let your candlestick shine amidst the darkness
of the world. It is only five minutes remaining until midnight
comes. Behold now is the time the place and the day.
For you to leave behind your world of darkness and sinful
shame. What a wonderful life awaits you. Life's many
trials will come and go. And Jesus Christ will love you so!

Love as always,

The Candlestick Maker

A short, old women entered
my shop and asked for indigo
candles. I did have indigo
candles, but there had only been
three left, and I had reserved
them for my wife’s birthday.

The woman said, “I understand
what you mean, and I hope you
live a long, happy marriage; I will
take four bishop candles instead
for your sake. I’m sure indigo is
her favourite.” I smiled at her,
exchanged her money for the
bishop candles, and she was
on her way. Then, I wondered if my
wife actually fancied indigo candles.

An Empty Candlestick

An empty candlestick
Wondering alone in the dark
Longing for a spark
In this silent stark

In a lonely corner block
A silhouette in black
Facing neither front nor back
Missing a lit matchstick

A wax candle in hand
Like a cradle being held
A sudden heaven
A scented burn

The form wavy strange
The flame in red-orange
Blew without a wind
For the eye the light to find

Seven Spirits a Candlestick

Seven stars within Eternal's palms Philadelphia freedom
Thirteen psalms and a will to be merry ?

                        ...."In Progress." *:*(*

Candlestick

Burning orange,
Illuminating a spherical area,
Wherever settled,
Yellow flame flickers in the eve,
Before the wick withers to null,
And the candlestick dies.
