Drawn to a template, we wish to colour,
we yet know not the force that drew us in
but we write away as would a scholar,
inspired by thoughts, silencing worldly din.

Inspirations that in-pour, are God's grace,
reverberating through our conscious mind,
wherein doing nothing, each wave we trace
as symbols hoping they are well aligned.

Although we know the word is not the thing,
we express ourselves as best as we can,
basking in the glow of joy it does bring
and this dear friends is our only game plan.

This is the way we are, by night and day ~
Creativity calls and so we play

Where the sun stops
And the light fades,
And the dark deepens
One finds a subtle
Horizon rest-

Within this symphony
Of great spheres-
Strings aloft,
Horns a summit of air,
Percussionists not a beat
To flare-
Safe harbor, so to speak-
A point
Without a peak...

For Time has no say,
With cycle in pure alignment,
The movement paused
Defying slip or stray,
The conductor's wand not a sway-

Here I also find You,
In the still
Without space,
Suspended
On High of Grace…

Music of the Spheres

Ambition is to play the Cello
Becoming a most talented fellow
Cellists make such sumptuous sounds
Delighting audiences the whole world round
Encouragement to take up lessons
From former cellist Hubert Hasbeen
Grimacing when he hears me play
Hasbeen lasted a week and a day
I was downhearted ~ I began to cry
Just when I spied her grandeur from the corner of my eye
Keyboard ~ Kettle drum ~ neither one did I desire
Laughing loudly I had found the one to set the world on fire
My heart it skipped a beat as I approached her silver feet
Nothing else would do for me the sound was so unique
Once I stood in front of her she smiled ~ it was so sweet
Playfully I stroked her keys as I began to feel at ease
Quivering with excitement and dropping to my knees
Resolute to practice every day and every night
Stoically determined to reach my ultimate peak
The Royal Philharmonic well they called me up one day
Unknown to me they’d heard my work and wanted me to play
Vowing to do my very best
When I auditioned with the rest
Xylophonist extraordinaire
Yells and cheers from all my peers
Zenith reached as played Pythagoras’ music of the spheres

In Youth, Oft Eyes Are But Dark Jaded Spheres

The Gods we adore in our youthful youth
Are just shadows we see before life's truth
In youth, oft eyes are but dark jaded spheres
That deny and guard against our deep fears
Wherein Life's stream veers in its steady flow
Bypassing so much mortals never know
As we journey into our fated fates
Choosing between light's truth and darken gates
Oft as a lost souls seeking that true path
Yet not seeing Time's decay and death's wrath
At mercy of forces as yet unseen
Never more than when racing on as teens
Those Gods laughing so loudly as we flail
Reveal they live within fires of Hell.

May your drives be long and true
Missed fairways, but a few
And when in a rough,
Be it not tall enough
To affect your follow through

May your approach shots miss every tree
Be straight and shank free
Your club selection right
To land it pin high
With a line easy to read

May the greens be not to slow or fast
Always dry, clean and flat
Do that thing you do
With putts no more than two
And no need for a lag

So it’s time to celebrate another year
Be it Feliz Navidad or New Years cheer
Have a good time
Golf buddy o’ mine
And play a round with these dimpled spheres

it tumbles in each chamber of my heart
thundering turbulence
raging against the walls
rising rising
like the tide awakened
by the insistent moon
this clamorous desire
floods my heart
rushing through my veins
gushing and swelling my very core
throbbing its demands
it commands
the inner pink mooned sphere
to awake and release
the inner tides

and I am swept away
on ebullient crest
of this passion display
far far away
to where
life is a pulse
thought is a sigh
and time?
time is endless
in the celestial spheres
of your eyes

The Music of the Spheres

When sunrise spreads its beauty
across the waking sky,
morning melodies I hear,
like clashing cymbals in my ear.

God must have an orchestra,
He sends to earth each day.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
His band of angels play.

Listen to the sounds on earth.
It's God's Glory that we hear.
Listen to all earth sing,
the music of the spheres.

Music of the Spheres

Not once has this path been so clear in moons rays
As it is on this night
in this haze, in this craze, what delight at this sight
in my bones and my spine not a fright- no respite
No cruel wars to fight breeding strife
No fear and no flight

….None on this night

Far distant proud waves steady pounding ashore
Playing sand castle drums
I implore wanting more, heart strings strum forming chords
Her sweet deep piercing melodies pure- and endure
The ages spill wonders and more
To ponder- adore

….Vast open doors

Kept sojourning East with the seas to my back
Bare feet dancing down trails
Keeping time, keeping track, tempos remain intact
I'm at one with the wind and her gales - I inhale
The swelling of cells fuels souls shell
No heavens or Hells

…..Alive and well

In distance a desert spreads gold shifting sands
Each grain tied together
Flowing strands, tied in bands, connecting forever
Yet loosely they drift through the never- loose tethered
Fulfilling ethers endeavors
Boundlessly clever

…..All will sever

Still the song carried on and made me a note
As it swept me along
Phantom wrote, years ago, as the universe dawned
Within verses the stars were all spawned- swelled and blown
Squeezed, crushed, thrown- into the unknown
All angles they've flown

….Beat carries on

Dreamy dazzle dance dear
See swirling spiral spheres
Easy echoes endear

Arouse apt ancient art
Prize primal playing parts
Seize sensuous succinct start

Lean looks lift lasting light
Rest rooms real rapture's right
Troubles tease tensile tight

Be beyond bursting blame
Nurture nimble nice name
Seek soaring sounds self same

Hurting hurls heavy heart
Ample asking aids art
Sign sad stormy soiled start

Love lives lonely lifetimes
Reach rustic roomy rhymes
Choose clever crafty chimes

Pleasure prompts plying price
Seeker starves sensuous spice
Id inking itchy ice

Zealous zooming zesty
Free flow freezing feisty
Random roaming rusty

Mindful moves make much more
Sure steady splendour spores
Appeal astounds adore

Dance of the Spheres

As clear crystal fiery stars dance through the Milky Way
The music of Heaven’s spheres vibrates harmonies -
In dainty minuets comet’s trails and starry orbs waltz into the day.

With solar breezes astral tarantellas dip and sway
Celestial instruments in tune for moonlit symphonies
As clear crystal fiery stars dance through the Milky Way.

Adagio storms of fantasies through stardust cadence play
While cosmic timpani compose the choreography -
In dainty minuets comet’s trails and starry orbs waltz into the day.

Star dances of the seasons rotate in theaters of great plies
While heavenly chimes call the vesper’s dance in rhapsodies
As clear crystal fiery stars dance through the Milky Way.

Sparks of shattered fireballs take their place - the astronomic stage -
The pulsing planet steps with the eternal dance card agree
In dainty minuets comet’s trails and starry orbs waltz into the day.

In arabesque my spirit leaps to join the spheres ballet
The rotating company in lines - jettes of crystalline astronomy,
As clear crystal fiery stars dance through the Milky Way
In dainty minuets comet’s trails and starry orbs waltz into the day.

Harmony of Spheres

Harmony of the Spheres

Oh, you’re included; the path to
Knowing God’s occluded; this
Denouement of the movement
has been precluded in this speech;
salvation is out of reach; no storm can
fill the breach of gapping schemes and dreams—
this much I know: upon the crest of dawn; his emissary
sits in wait for you, near the coming of his love; what
signal shall he choose to summon you?
In harmony my dear one,
In time with all this fear;
For it is his notion that covers all;
From that date so long ago;
To this moment now to flow;
Let it go…

The scope of limitless voyage
Drums of succubus groans
Morns of Alexandra dawns
Roans’ carcass_ dungeons full of mermaids

The whispers of neon as lamps
Blast castaways the sides’ mere bliss
Bloody dilemmas_illusion kisses
Ripe mangoes_potatoes and toys

The blur unclear line two meters syllable
Edible nines these signs_wasted eras
Twenty sixes dare maze_lost raccoon
Cancans’ whoredom lads grown

Flights twice_each glide metaphors
Little fix pieces myth dilemmas as spheres

-THE END-

Seraphical Spheres

A thousand Suns bow before you,
A thousand Moons reflect your smile...
As Venus descends in skies of blue,
Gowned by Cleopatra Queen of the Nile...

The Sun and Moon before you dance,
Your bridal beauty captured in my heart...
The dulcet dawn spews its romance,
Catapulting kisses by Cupids dart...

Rays of the Sun extend their display,
The Gods of Olympus fest fully rejoice...
Botanical gardens in their full array,
For the Angel's now give their voice.

The Sun and Moon forever will guide,
Of the day for you, to be my only bride.

Stratus Spheres

When stratus is strung
 with artist's lattice
 and letters are spun
 as cotton cumulus

I bend in awe of
 resounding matter
 expressing substance
 beyond human dressings

Stilled in silvered
 lines of sanity
 hanging covertly
 for all to survey

Wisdom proclaimed
 displayed openly
 for viewing;
 pursuing

 should perception's
 glance be longer
 than a split second

Imagine what
 awaits
 a discerning eye

 if only?
