Best Overthinking Poems

Overthinking
There’s too much on my mind,
But there’s not enough time,
To write it all down,
So I guess I’ll just drown,
In these thoughts.
They consume me,
Dragging me deeper and deeper,
Down and down,
Into the further unknown....

Don'T Bother Overthinking the Past
Just stop thinking about it,
Don't bother losing yourself to it,
Stop getting your mind overclouded
Don't overthink about it.

Past's not gonna change
Present's in your hand,
Future's awaiting you,
So does it take that long for you to realise;
Time always flows like river,
Everything that you wrote in sand of time,
Now...

The Most Tyrannical King: the Overthinking
Ever jumped from one thought to another faster than the speed of light or at the speed of your internet connections full might...

Within each thought grows like a tree, with the branches like intricate questions of what if...? why should I bother ? how...

Overthinking
OVERTHINKING....

Overthinking is my enemy
I always let it get the best of me
WHY cant I just let things be?

Constant state of insanity
Is it me or does anyone else see?
The words that drive me into a frenzy..

What to do? What to do?
Take a breath what's...

Overthinking
Why do people live to think
Think about what others think
They sit and think around all day
Letting dreams just pass away
Thinking builds the mind
Just to make it fall
If this is all that thinking does
Why do people think at all...

Overthinking Subtleties
Sinking deeper and deeper in despair
As I raise my hands and murmur a prayer
Oh, how I wish those fairytales were true
And happ’ly e’er afters, we had no clue
What would happen next, what would come to pass
Would have had us lost, had we heard en masse
About...

Late Night Overthinking
Late night overthinking
Heart racing, made up situation anticipating
Feelings chasing, dread encasing
I return, rewind to the start, replaying the awful part.
When they said that, what did they actually mean?
Conversation misconstrued, I probably came across really rude!
Going through that scenario
Searching for a way to let it go
Heart...

Overthinking
Age has taken a sobering toll
On my imagination
I no longer think illogically
Just logically, and rhetorically
I never have an answer

A rocket never reached the moon
By dreaming About the cost
And wars, I'm sure, have been fought
For logical reasons
Of course war, in a sense, is illogical
Because who...

Overthinking About You
Too much on my mind. Wishing I could rewind. True love is so hard to find.
At times, I feel like I've went blind. How did I get so far behind. I really can't
afford to waste anymore time.

My heart is like gold.
My life is...

Overthinker
At first I worried I cared too little,
That I hardly noticed Anxiety
stalking me for years.
worst fears awakened at fifteen;
when the world went dark -
blindfolded and tied.
Now I dream about it every night -
except I'm wide awake
and my eyes open wide.
The darkness is way too...

Alone Im Lonely
I’m sitting alone,
As I do...
I’m chilling in my zone,
Feeling too often blue.

Always stuck in my head,
In an emotional stew.
It’s like a loose thread,
Being pulled through...

Through drowning my sorrows,
With whatever brew.
Wondering about possible tomorrows...
Questioning my moral views.

I am ofttimes prone,
To this overthinking loneliness.
But still sitting...

Deep are the questions, like quicksand sinking
Seeping into a restless mind pressing
Weeping with release, yet overthinking
Sleep comes uneasy with dreams distressing

Heaps of concepts lead to faulty linking
Steeping upon words without expression
Sheep are miscounted with rapid blinking
Leaping to conclude a wrong impression

Regret and Guilt
Regret and Guilt
Coming hand-in-hand
Yes, they are having a good time
Not on a beach or park
But eating me alive
They might have called their buddy
Overthinking to join the feast
Because whenever I look back
They are always smirking...

Mr Anxiety
I feel like I am drowning
Cant pull myself ashore
Floating further away
From the me
I Know no more

Sinking in my thoughts
crippling in self doubt
Please try not to listen
Let the negative thoughts be out

I feel like I am trapped
Stuck within my head
Overthinking
Worrying
I should be looking ahead

Replaying failed...
