The Magi *
Star
Rises
In the east,
The three magi,
Scholars from afar
Follow its guiding light
Over hills and through deserts
To a small town called Bethlehem,
There pay homage to the new born king
Bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Written 22nd December 2020.
Wishing everyone a merry Christmas...

Hope of the MagiOn a dark, mysterious and cloudless night,
A shooting star traces its way from the east.
God’s shining divine messenger glows bright—
Directing the Wise Men’s excursion for peace.
Knowing even God’s folly can only satisfy,
The Magi choose not to ignore this holy clue.
They set out trailing this...

A Gift From the MagiWhen thoughts of peace good will toward man
ring out this special day, shall we forget what’s
going on around us?
Life today is a sea with waves rising in ominous
regularity, and break in on the shore of our individual
conscience. Are we prepared to discharge our...

The Seat of the MagiWith the right of messianism,
And the depth of free will,
They journeyed to Bethlehem,
To hear the parents spill.
Zoroastrians true and ready,
Ripe for the monologue bold,
They offered gold and incense,
And on Mary’s story they were sold.
Called wise men, magicians,
They could...

The Magi Beats Sweet Mindless Hum Drums Against Day's End
"The Magi Beats Sweet Mindless Hum Drums Against Day's End"
The abstract lines
you hold onto tight
are leaving marks
in my heart
like rope burns
the pleasure of winning
by not giving in
and then some pain
when you walk my mind,
you never turn away, you stay
My mind
is...

The Rift of the MagiHe walked in through the main door,
“Unbolted?” he wondered.
An ebbing shade of brown painted layer,
The polish on the door, dulled.
A poor man’s residence,
Deplumed sofa covers,
Sidestepped since the past three years.
The chewed up walls, unrepaired.
Jim heard the church bells chime
Music!
Yes, music was assigned to be his...

Ask the MagiVol 1.
Well, go ask the Magi,
and you may be extolled.
Yet, he may say you're crazy,
He's, three Millennium old.
Then, I went to the Magi,
with this question to pose.
If most opinions mean nothing
though everyone has some.
The Magi replied,
"don't,stand down wind Son".
The Magi is Wise,
the Magi is knowing.
Yeah,...

Most Beautiful Christmas PoemSnowing tonight….incandescent, luminescent,
Silvery snow, whispering divine dreams..
Air misty, breeze calm, serene! Do I see the
Brilliant Star, which directed the wise men
To a stable on an evening of starry twilight ...
When the three wise magi spotted the
Brightest star in the east, their surprise,
And their...

The Nativity CharliekuJoseph
and Mary
traveled on a
donkey
to give birth
in Bethlehem,
but there
was no room
in the town's inn
In the
silence of
the starry night,
born in
a manger
the dear Savior
Angel
announces
to the shepherds:
"Today
nearby is
born a baby
God's son
the Savior,
Jesus the Lord
Angels
sing: "Glory
to God in the
highest,
peace to His
people on earth.
Shepherds
came to...

ChristmasChristmas
Christmas comes in long nights of winter
Honoring a child born so long ago
Restoring hope for peace on earth
In angel’s songs and shepherds bowed low
Sleeping child upon the hay
Taking Bethlehem by surprise
Magi from afar revere the new king
A humble child born before our eyes
Simple rhyme celebrates...

Manger StoryThe Wisemen were summoned to Herod’s palace, a night so fine.
He wanted to know when the star in the east rose, so sublime.

He was so keen on learning of the prophetic star in...
