Premium Member My Christmas Angel

Sweet as Christmas candy cane
She takes away my pain

Embellishes low spirts
Then she’ll crystallise the rain

With care, wraps up my anguish
Topped off with festive bow

Ensures there’s room within her inn
When I have no place to go

She jingles my bells when I’m going through hell

turns my tears into to snow flakes
With her jovial spell

Illuminates darkness with twinkling lights
embraces me warmly When Jack Frost bites

She’s a gift of the very highest degree
My Angel
My star
Adorning my tree

The most precious of baubles
Such a Yuletide time cracker
She can loose herself in this seasonal Chatter

She disperses my worries
and breaks them all down

They don’t seem so huge
As they fall to the ground

Like a magical snow globe
She shakes up my sadness

She’s my sparkling tinsel
and fills me with gladness

My dearest of friends who I treasure so deeply

Always thinking of others
and sings oh so sweetly

The tune of this heavenly holy night
Sprinkling hope as saint Nicholas takes his flight.

Premium Member Thanksgiving

Prep done with glowing heart
The list grows as day gets near
Decked out in fall pumpkin hues
Reminiscent of harvest bounty
All the fixin’s for a feast
Every detail thought thru
Enticing aromas fill the house
Carving turkey with precision
Best china set ‘round the table
Sharing drinks in finest crystal
Toasting to happiness and health
Ready for capping off the banquet
Are flaky pies hot in the oven
Saying grace comes natural
When gifted with sweet abundance
True friends and loving family
Sturdy roof over our heads
Fortunate are we in every way

Align your way:
Feel surge of zest,
Embrace new day,
See spring's sure quest;
Truth and beauty
Instruct and stay;
Voice harmony,
Exult pulse play.
Sense a grand surge
Prompt festive waves
Reach and emerge,
Indulge thoughts brave;
Now funds good times,
Grand health that chimes.

Premium Member Festive Year End Finale

All through the year it's been coming
the months, weeks and days countdown
then in that final month of the year
all the pressure makes one frown

It's the fastest paced month by far
everything's a gogo in December
all pointing to Santa time at Christmas
be ready get all the pressies remember!

Sadly the real reason for the season
has been lost in this materialistic world
God sent His son to be our saviour
instead man leaves the message curled

It can bring a mixture of weather
where ever in the world you may be
of course it's my birthday month
now let's find as real nice green tree

Premium Member On the Boston Marathon Bomb Blast: On a Festive Flag-Flapping Day of Fun

Terza Rima Sonnet On the Boston Marathon bomb blast:
On a festive flag-flapping day of fun

for the victims of blind bombs all over the globe

On a festive flag-flapping day of fun
Two brothers back-packed with hot nails in pipes
White cap leading black cap in marathon

More than two millions’ indoor hemmed in gripes
Nine thousand armed to teeth charged for brother
And six doleful innocent eyes Boston wipes

One misled madly charges a brother
In tether out to die in showdown blast
A last ditch for some ill-tutored blabber

Then while the world looks on in pity aghast
A mindless lad plays out the cult of yore
Some Sohrab takes on the West’s blind bomb blast

If those bright and good be un-taught to adore
What hope may there be for the rest any more.

Your best day
                                         life is short
                                        live with joy

                                        The path you
                                         chose to go
                                        at first dawn

                                        Who has said
                                      your foot tracks
                                         is just dust ?

Festive Times

Woke up with the sounds of the neighbor’s dogs barking
Normally it would end after a few times
But Today wasn’t any morning
It was the morning of festive lines
Children running in joy
Innocent smiles and laughs
As Satisfaction of a pirate chanting ahoy
Spotting shore after enduring miles
Girls are Cheerful and ecstatic
Chasing each other all the way to the attic
No shouting or sneering
Today all the anger and stress was ceasing
The Firework will light the sky
And Moon and the stars will pry
They wonder all the sudden alleviation
Upon a race that losses hope, faith and sanity by the slightest temptation
The scene of a perfect entrée
Ballerinas twirling dancing fouetté

But good times pass and people forget
Sinking in their busy lives

Premium Member Donkey

Donkey

Pin back your ears
Settle down for the ride
And you'll find a warm feeling
Somewhere way deep inside..

Here is a story
That has often been told
It's full of excitement
and never gets old

It starts with a journey
You've heard it before..
There's Joseph, Mary and baby
And donkey makes four.

They travelled from far
To Bethlehem's Inn
Where a bed for the night..
..well it wasn't a thing

So the Inn Keeper showed them
A place round the side
With a shed and some straw
And a manger to hide

And here at the stable
As all gather around
The new baby gurgled
a heavenly sound

And the star of the show?
Not the one high above
It's this baby right here
The one swaddled in love

So here is the thing
As our story unfolds..
The star in the sky
Sends a message so bold...

Like a beacon to signal
To nations and races
That this King has been born
To put smiles on our faces

"I'm here for this child
so all people can see
There's a star up in heaven
So much brighter than me."

So to ears that can hear
And to eyes that can see..
A message of joy
Tells of all that can be..

But one creature here
Knowing more than the rest..
Having carried the baby
Having passed every test

Knowingly munches
By the crib filled with hay
That this baby will save us
From bad things one day

He knows that this child..
Is far more than enough.
The reason we celebrate
All this Christmassy stuff

The greatest of gifts
With the lowliest start
For the baby is coming
To reclaim your heart

So pin back your ears
Settle down for the ride
And try not to deny
That warm feeling inside..

The Last Scream of a Festive Goat

Journey of a thousand mile
Started out with a smile
Boldness and courage were the kit
All suit up in strength of great stealth
Feeling all ready
For a journey of thousand mile
 A foot step forward
Then a thousand steps after

Grope in dark, search goes on and on..
Search of what's right ,so I don't go wrong
Aggressively I persist about the unseen
Yet Hurdles and stomps made it an adventure
But I gotta be strong.
Dedication stays the drive
While Will the wheel
Still for a Journey of A Thousand Mile

Tides ebb and flow, basked and broke
Still hoping and praying to see Dawn
Heartfelt words yet strife in the world
Still I persist on this : One Time
   Journey of A Thousand Mile

Then and then a manual birth from Divine
On how to stay a Fine-Wine
So I can grow with this Love filled Vine
O' ye "disobedience" is the pine
On the Journey of A Thousand Mile

Sweats the hallmark Stress the benchmark !
     My eyes fully dilated
Just as the long Awaited goal draws closer
Light shines through across from a distance
 Through the Tunnel of
This Journey of A Thousand Mile

 I screamed in excitement
For I know here comes the moment
 I screamed some more
For I believe I weep no more
Then I ran towards the light
At the end of the tunnel
Still screaming amain, never minding
 My hurting Bowel
For its been Journey of A Thousand Mile

A louder sound clouds mine
 Coming from the corridors
 Of the past, unto
The Dwelling doors of the Present .
Mankind is in constant conflict with his
Nemesis, The Act of "Disobedience ".
  Nemesis screamed louder
Man's inevitable end
Made me scream some more
Into the Six feet fitted for defeat
Nemesis screamed the most
All on this
Journey of A Thousand Mile
Which ended a Cry.

A Better Tomorrow

A golden sun I yearn to see t'morrow
That’s never, ever dawn in my life-time;
The crows will caw with its first-ever glow,
And wrens will timely chime a welcome rhyme.
The sun will brightly dawn with healing rays
And scorch forever to cease that Covid, beast,
Who chokes our throats with his, malicious gaze,
And furls the table, laid for ceaseless feast.
Red-bills will bring the news of a vaccine,
And hospital beds will lonely … bemoan;
Young men will queue for delicious cuisine,
And elders will break their bedridden zone.
They all will coolly fly in festive air
And dive in fleecy dreams with little care.

Christmas Movies

I love to sit in comfort
At home watching TV
I watch my favorite movies
The one's that work for me

It's not a Christmas movie
Just because there's snow
That's something folks at Hallmark
Should be told, so someone knows

To me, A Christmas movie
Has Santa and a gift
It has a Christmas message
It gives people a lift

Getting lost in a big snowstorm
Finding love in a small town
Doesn't make it Christmas
In fact, it brings me down

I want music, Bing and Danny
Scrooge , Kris Kringle, silent night
I want movies I grew up with
I want films in black and white

I watch movies that will touch me
Make me feel what's deep inside
I want to feel the Christmas spirit
I want shepherds to abide

A Christmas film is something
I want to sit and watch each year
I want to understand what they are saying
I want the message to be clear

Entertain me, make me feel it
Films traditional and new
I want to travel backwards
To remember Christmas past....don't you

A real good Christmas movie
Brings memories into my mind
Of sitting down with Grandpa
Things Hallmark doesn't find

So, even though it starts a fire
No matter what you see
It may be a Christmas film to you
But, it may not be to me
