I feel like I am fading away to nothing,
blending into an ordinary crowd,
where no one even notices me anymore.
Like an April snowflake, freely falling, landing on warm cement.
And, fading away with a short existence.

Or, an August raindrop in a passing storm,
dripping onto dry, weathered porch...

Fading Away
As you are growing stronger everyday
Oh, how it hurts to see myself fading away.

Dedicated to the ones who hurt us.

Like a moment of sunshine that is covered by darkness.
I'm Fading Fast.

Like a shimmer of color that is washed away by the beating of the tide.
I'm...

I stand alone
Weary whithering
Like a fading bloom
Deep within a forest
Shrouded in darkness
Beneath the towering trees
That took my daylight away
I'm suffocating I cannot breath
Smothered by creepers
And fallen leaves
Forgotten worthless
Void of love and tender care
I let out a primal scream
My pain so much
That goes unheard
I am...

Fading Away the Mark of Misery
I must admit
You left me broken…
I am shattered shards,
Spread out on your hands…
Your sweaty palms of uncertainty at hand
But, we will land in a land of I-understand…

Make a stand and things won’t get out of hand
Don’t break up the band of creativity and cheer…
Your ideas...

From my youth, I don’t remember much about friends.
At least, not until I got into Junior High.
Something happened that I swore wouldn’t happen again.
My one and only “best friend” left me high and dry.

I never knew what I did to make her angry,
But she decided...

The misty evening will be departing soon,
Leaving but a memory of the summer moon;
As the sunlit halls were golden for a day,
Then Sol died of grief in a dusky display!

Moments dance by with the memory of rose,
It's petals scattering by, as the wind blows;
And days...

Fading Away
`

Stood alone watching the leaves slowly fall
Floating to earth like these teardrops I cry
Hearing the echoes of darkness now call
Seeking an end to the breaths I did sigh

Hollowed emotions now dangle the rope
Climbing to locate the use of this place
Winters of solitude lessen the hope
Nothing...

I am shattered, like a mirror that fell from the wall,
into thousands of pieces, I stand detached, watching it fall.

But it is me, the being that I am, who lies there so still.
How can my broken soul return, with total lack of will?

A long time...

Fading Away
You heard me say I love you
and you thought it wouldn't end.
Everyday you became someone new
and you expected me to understand.
How this is happening I have no clue
but my love for you is fading away.

I need to always feel needed
but you taking me for granted.

Fading Away
Somedays i keep it all locked down inside,
When my inner spirit chooses to run and hide.
It builds and builds to this manic depression
Where ive come to accept my lifes regression.
I watch things held precious slip away
I surrender to hopelessness day by day
I look to my...

Fading Away
When I was born
I was such a pretty little girl.
I remember I was covered
From head to toe in tiny lights.
Thousands of them.
So pretty I shone.
Like an illuminated
Christmas tree.
Then as I became older.
I learned how to lie.
Mom I have done my work.
A light went out.
Mom...

Minute by minute, day by day,
A little more of me fades away.
Seconds on the clock ticking fast,
Until another year has passed.
Is it because I'm old and grey?
I notice how time slips away.
If I were young and fancy-free,
Time would not bother me.
Do not expect mercy as...

Fading Away
Do you ever feel like your fading away
a peace of you is sliding away never to be found.
You feel like everybody puts you down and
nobody is around to help you off the ground.
Instead we just sit there hoping a miracle to come,
but we wait and...

Fading Away From My Past
After many years a man returned home to put to rest some very dark demons,
He left as a boy with hatred in his heart and an anger to match that hatred,
A wretched upbringing the spite from his family who hated him was so harsh,
What could...
