End of Days
...inspired by 'The Salamander' by C.S. Lewis

The sun bore down with blinding rays,
the oceans boiled and came to nought,
it was withal the end of days
with every living creature caught,
when from the rocks, agile, adept,
a tiny lizard meekly crept.

With roughened skin and beady...

End of Days
And I for one would like to sleep
but I cannot, because I weep
for lives and dreams and nations lost
We never thought to count the cost

So many are the pirouettes
of running, flailing silhouettes
as flames behind them flicker high
to set aglow the night time sky

Becoming so habitual
this...

End of Days
Take these shackles and give ‘em to the bear, tell her I’ve gone home
Take these shackles and throw ‘em to the wind, I’ll live like that no more
Gonna find me the weapon that can kill off Mutley, end his child like rage
Gonna find me a...

Revelations....

Tears are red

Hearts are blue

A pantheon

Pantomimes

Paradigms

For, me and you

Metaphores....

On distant shores

Approaching

Soon ~

Marching bands

Dripping hands

Warriors

Beyond

Your view....

Tears are red

Hearts

Their blue

Melting stars

This, bursting moon

Pantomimes

Panoramic signs....

Paradigms

Foretold times

Prophecies

Coming

True ~

The End of Days
The ways of the end of our days
           seem frightful yet serene-
Fear of the unknown may come and
go but the Lord keeps us clean.
For in these moments of life and
    death...

Premium Member End of Days
Some said it would come with the millennium
Worldwide chaos and technology confusion
Two-thousand twelve forecasts create mystification
Are the hopes we hold for man’s future an illusion?

There is no doubt our day of reckoning will come
Tornadoes, tsunamis and earthquakes are preludes
Softly ticking clocks gain the thunder...

End of Days

    By Edmund Siejka

Pondering the value of life
He formulates a riddle
What is better than God?
Poor people have it
Rich people don’t have it
And if you eat it you will die?
The answer to his riddle is: Nothing.

Looking up
He notices a pale, glowing...

Early Days

An epic story told of men on earth,
My father’s life, and also mine
Wind planted weeds, we had a humble birth,
Not sprung from rose or grape on vine.

Our whole existence born of charity,
A “gift” of former Indian land,
The “Cherokee Land Run” was spoils of war
White...

Premium Member End of Days - No Tomorrow
A news flash said there is no tomorrow
And it fills me with a feeling of dread
A pity that more time we can't borrow
This time tomorrow we will be all dead.

A huge comet has decided our fate
Our family gather to say farewell
We all reflect on...

End of Days
Did you hear the thunder overhead?
Arise, arise ghosts of the dead
See the lightning flash in the black sky
Watch the rain fall before our eyes
Feel the earth as it begins to shake
Now rising Odin finally awakes
Look and you'll see the Valkyries
An ancient thousand year old...

The End of Days
People are starting to add up the facts and most don’t like what they see,
The world is rapidly deteriorating at an accelerated rate, call it prophecy!

And if these are the last days how many of us are truly ready?
We are living in an explosive society...

The End of Days
The world lies silently sleeping
The day of judgement has come
This day is one of awe and wonder
But feared by many and none

I looked out across the seafront
The waters calm and still
Across the meadow was quiet
Nothing stirred on the hill

Everything was holding its breath
Nothing dare speak...

The End of Days - Part Two
This is the bottom line; side stepping as skirting....
All ramble bamble bull crap ? Heaven's Messiah, came
Over two-thousand years past with a message: turn your cheek
Love your neighbor enemies and all as yourself ? Yet, certains entered
Her America's and soon thereafter began slaughtering the native's...
