with my car door open
right after work

I hear them in the hallway giggling and laughing.
A bunch of excited geese, making loud exuberant noises. 
My co-workers who are arriving a few minutes early.
I listen and smile, wondering if they know how happy they sound.
It brings the day forward on a good note....
