then ...
we watched a
world weeping blood
one man's heavenly hope
humanity's horror ...
steel like butter, melting
strange birds in stranger air ... flailing
sirens in chorused agony
for those whose voices were silenced
perfect azure vault, stained
with poison ...
breath of ashen brutality
the incense for an evil anointing
a somber search for survivors
for...

9 11 Attacks
9/11 Attacks

The day began like any other
The sun rose, scattering to work,
Settling into their day, with a smirk.
8.46am thousands of lives, would change,
North Twin Tower was hit by a plane,
People thought, NO, that’s insane.
News came to those, yes it was true,
Some knew and others didn’t...

My Only Son 9-11 Tragedy
"Put on channel seven.
My Lord!! What have they done!
I can not believe it..
they killed my only son!"

Raised with respect.
Never a problem.
Worked hard as a Man.
Problems..he would solve them.

He did well in College..
He struggled..but made it through.
Held his chin up when he...

Neon (9/11)
When dulled down shock painfully became
a pickaxe ache behind shimmering eyes,
the bludgeoning screen hammered memory cells
repeatedly, over and over.
Tears exploded, soft rain dampened flame,
the grumbling dust cloud debris disguised
broken hearts bursting in agonised swells
searching for life confirmation.

Crashed vultures, evil in senseless flight,
beating humanity for hours...

Premium Member A 9-11 Tale With Heart

A beautiful autumn day it was.
The gold and red sneaking in
the Central Park leaves as it
always does.
I wanted to stay home with my
wife and son.
But realized there were bills to
be paid and then some.
So after my shower, breakfast and
things,
I just sipped on my...

9/11
911 poem

I see flames and smoke
Terrorists thinking it a big joke
Sounds of eplosions in the air
Screams and cries are everywhere
Little children dying
At home the parents are crying
Sounds of sirens ring to my ears
The looks on peoples faces is...

A Sequel To 9-11
Written: by Tom Wright
10/19/01- 4/3/2020

During trying times,
We often search our dark lonely passageways.
Finding scant light
To help us through our days;
As faith's novices,
We often consider that sight
With anguish, fear, and utter disdain;
Faith, prompts us to believe the glow at tunnel's end,
Is our...

Never Forget 9 11
Tomorrow is 9/11 the worst day in American history

We need to take a moment and pray

Thousands died in those beautiful towers

Many jumped to their deaths

Some we still can’t find 23 years later

The attack on the Pentagon was a vicious act

Those Heros on Flight...

9-11 Enter Bare
Enter Bare

Nocturnal screams of voices beamed
Through sacrificial sacred skies
Insanity on a killing spree
With tears crusted crucified cries

On Angels wings flying thin
As the multitudes will divinely divide
Enter bare as we watch and stare
For the world has embraced genocide

Rubble rumbles as structures crumble
Lives are lost within a...

The wound (Haiku) 2014

A deep gaping hole
newly covered with scar flesh
a cemetery

the reflective pond
the bright thirteen year old trees
the lost souls still there

the money-men charge
fees to visit our worst time
Ah, America!

~9/ll: A Day Of Infamy~
(Chain Poem Style)

September eleventh is a day
Day of infamy that I'll never forget
Forget what with my horrified eyes I watched
Watched coming from my TV screen and that re-played
Re-played showing airplanes flying and hitting straight
Straight...

Remembering 9-11
Remember those who died for us,
Remember nine-eleven,
They left their families to save us,
They died and went to heaven.
	Remember the twin towers,
They once were there but now are gone,
Remember those who went to work,
Who never came home.
Remember the God who gave us life,
Who can save us...

9/11/10
Towers turned to dust,
Pentagon ablaze in pain,
Still the Eagle Stands.

Turning our anger,
Pretending to be happy,
Quasi- war Lingers.

Give Islam its due.
Let them prove their peaceful cant.
Or loose the Genie....

Never Forget 9-11
On that day we were all the same, we didn't know there faces, we didn't know
there names.
There voices we heard crying all around the world, someones loving father,
someones little girl.
On that day we were called to lead a better life, for that someones...
