He wanted to kiss her, but his heart was still young, And he was too shy; she said she didn’t mind. They spent time together and loved to fly. They would hold each other’s hands, And spin through the air together. She was Humble’s first love and He had hoped he could bee with her forever… …but something was missing, he knew it too well. The electricity wasn’t there, but he was afraid to tell. They were both good friends and happy with each other, But neither of them thought they were yet lover’s. They hadn’t even kissed and the situation never arrived. Humble hoped; Blondebee smiled; but who could find the time? They went to ‘Where it’s at’ and had fun with their friends. They would all joke about the two, but already Humble saw the end. She was his first love. Surely it would bee good? But as the night came to its end, he didn’t feel the love. He wrote her a poem and left her to read it. She said she liked it, but Humble wasn’t convinced. She liked the latest trends and she was a good friend, But she was never somebody on whom Humble could depend. She would always arrive at the last minute, And Humble knew in his heart, that her heart wasn’t in it. He wasn’t as important as he thought he beelieved. He was a second thought and knew they would never bee. All he wanted was a kiss, but that she would not give. He remembered her kissing Tiny Dancer like it was nothing… (C)2020 Aa Harvey.
