We walked carefully down the hall Many children would stop and stare Some smiles and giggles all around We seemed to be popular there Suddenly a door opened up A whole class of kids together Followed their teacher from the room Holding hands, their only tether It was really cute to see them All were small, but the last was least He looked around wide eyed and yelled Like he'd just seen a terrible beast! I did that job for Fifteen years It could be hard, but there were times Rather than hard on knees and back It added a few more laugh lines!
