He came home from work tonight and held me tight
He had been debating about us today with all of his might
Obviously he found more reasons than one
To have me continue lighting our path as his sun
When I try to figure out his reasons why he loves me so
He finds his shy reasons to never let me know!
But here I sit and write this story~poem to you
Men like him so real and so true are very few
Some things I figure it's best not to be told
For him and him only, my life has been sold
From this day forward I choose to be by his side
Life isn't easy ~ in fact ~ it's a tough ride
But with someone special life is so easy to live
With my baby Ricky, he just gives and gives
We decided to straighten our lives for each other
Never again will my heart belong to another
I know I am not perfect, baby, but neither are you
We've been through much worse ~ what we have is true
I do believe we have been through much worse before
We have both had our hearts ripped out and tore
But what we have is strong ~ just so you know
We are now hitting our highs and have passed our low
I have decided it is you who I want to spend my life
And I want you to be my husband, and me to your wife
Congratulations you have captured all of my love
You are my shining angel sent to me from above
