My Arkea Ultime Challenge race, Solo race around the world, It is the poetry that I trace day by day, My trimaran is happiness and its sails, I can go around the world, with, From my home port, Brest, Crossing Cape Horn is no easy task, The waves are high and fierce, The krakens are waiting for us, The weather varies from one hour to the next, so uncertain, Write or die We must brave the southern storms, I’m going around the world, alone, My trimaran is the misfortune of others, Do you know the way to Australia? You, sailor? You have to be patient and tenacious on your ship, You have to be brave and dreamy all the time, Facing the winds of the South, threatening, To write every day is to change course, It’s saving the lives of those we love, Write the poetry of icebergs, tropics, My solo race is poetry in the open sea, is a doctrine, a distant cape, My trimaran, defy time, giant whales, Would I see my country again? That is the question, Poetry crosses all the oceans, Anything can happen, It’s the Arkea Ultime Challenge, I write, it haunts me. PS, yesterday Sunday, January 7, 2024, started from Brest a solo race around the world, the boats are monsters (hyper sophisticated trimarans) the images of France 3 were fabulous, a race that I will follow, good wind to the sailors of the exploit Arkea Ultime Challenge Ma course Arkea Ultime Challenge, Course en solitaire autour du monde, C’est la poésie que je trace au jour le jour, Mon trimaran, c’est le bonheur et ses voiles, Je peux faire le tour de la planète, avec, Depuis mon port d’attache, Brest, Franchir le Cap Horn, n’est pas une mince affaire, Les vagues sont hautes et féroces, Les krakens nous attendent tapis derrière elles, La météo varie d’une heure à l’autre, si incertaine, Écrire ou mourir Il faut braver les tempêtes australes, Je m’en vais faire le tour du monde, en solitaire, Mon trimaran, c’est le malheur des autres, Connais-tu la route de l’Australie ? Toi, marin ?
