Poem
It's For You; It's For Me God is our provider, our best friend, that He wants us to be! He wants us to be happy, to live with serenity. He is our beacon in the still of the night, to light our pathways journey, it has to be. He's coming back to take you away from here. So that you might live forever without any fear. He shall comfort you, when you're weary of being blue. Take heed to His words, Gods' children, He is always with you, it's true. He takes you as you are, lost as the lamb amidst being far. Along its wilderness pathway does it walk. Is it He that had a plan for you for quite some time now? So be calm and try to listen for when He speaks to thee? Stand for Him and what He's done for you by giving up His own life to pay for our sins and set us free! His soul, He did give when God came here as a Man. He is right behind you, you see; He will carry you with His song if you believe? He is God, our Creator, the Wise and Merciful One. How can I be writing this wrong? Everything happens for reasons; He, too, had dropped to His knees in wilderness lands to be with you. But, I am a testament for Him, you see, but don't believe me for writing out loud for you to read? The reason why I say this, my lungs had given up; that didn't want to last. I was on life support for a week or so. I didn't have any place to go. I, graced with the grandest of opportunities, I was ascending going to Heaven, that's where I wanted to be. Two angels met me at these Gates of Heaven, but I couldn't enter there. The elegance of those angels stunned me, and soon I fell to the ground. I wasn't supposed to be there, you see, and the one angel told me that I had to leave. The other spoke up and said, William, are you ready to go? Go where I thought to myself, as she snapped her fingers with glee. There I was all of a sudden, inside my own heart, that's where I'll be. It's my heaven of mine, you see, I live there most of the time. It has the essence of my mother and my beautiful late wife. Heaven is real, for I have seen it. But this isn't whether you believe me or not? I'm just here to tell my story; I hope the read here brought a message that hit the spot? It's time that I say good night to all of you! And Lord, one more thing before we go and close? God bless every one of you, too! This is written as rhyme/prose.
