The heroes welcome...
So he lumbers home,his day, rough..long ..up before dawn.. watching his child still asleep..but he must.. running to gather his wares, to catch the bus ..which takes him to the inner section of the downtown market ..
This has been his routine for the last 7 years ,the journey long..down the hills , miles upon miles..
Bundled with all the other hustlers , all jousting for the best position to ply their wares...the stench ..he often wondered about the stench..a mixture of urine, garbage..how do they , how does he stomach it..? That's the question..maybe he too has become immune to it..
"SALE OUT!!!BUY ONE GET ONE!!! he hollars to anyone passing ..hoping .. beyond hope .. someone .. anyone would patronize him.."SWEET GIRL..MI HAV YUH SIZE!!!.but nothing today..no catch..
So as the minutes ,turns to hours..he must decide... should he stay or should he pack up and head home..
He did have a smalls from last week sale..buy a tin mackerel a pound a rice...maybe a lollipop for his son..
So he chose the latter..head home..
Maybe tommorow will see better fortunes..Back to running down that last bus...back to the long ride home..
But as he hops off the bus..as he turns through his gate..as he turns his lock..he hears.."DADDY , DADDY ,DADDY!!!YEAH..DADDY DADDY ,DADDY!!!
he sighs,he smile , because his efforts weren't in vain.. 
He gets the greeting, the greatest feeling in the world...he gets a heroes welcome.....
