I'll see you in my dreams

Chet Atkin’s life work was profound
Mr. Guitar made Nashville’s sound
There’s no one to fret
Yet do one more set
From around his burial mound

Chet akin, sounds like a talented soul that i need to listen to, i love the title of this limerick so much. It reminded me of a song by the corrs, not sure if you’d know them. They play violin very well. You might like do listen to “only when i sleep” a fave song of mine. Pleasure always reading your work and seeing you post on soup. I do appreciate your selfless support also! Sending you light always

I would like to express my regard for Chet Atkins, a prominent figure in Nashville's music scene, through a superb Limerick "Dear Duke." The limerick revolves around his enduring legacy and major impact on the music industry. You pay tribute to Chet Atkins by using wordplay and references to music. The title "Mr. Guitar" emphasizes Atkins' exceptional guitar-playing abilities and esteemed reputation. The term "fret" is a clever wordplay that involves both the act of worrying and the concept of frets on a guitar. In addition to its literal meaning, the word "set" can also refer to a musical performance or setlist.
