Your heavy chains
I walk where the land meets the sea
Heavy chains dragged,
trails cross the sands.
The last time I saw you,
You were breathing the scent deeply in.
Just like me, you were born of flesh
And just like me, your lips taste of sin.
You say you cannot forget your pain
But I see you’ve found a way to forget mine.
