A Poetic Tribute to You Know Whom
"Humility is a virtue in others."
-- the human ego
* * *
The paragon of bards whom I admire
anonymous hath opted to remain,
beseeching humbly mine unrivaled lyre
my peerless paean pluck sans too much strain;
nor need I loan him still my crown of bays;
my Homer bust; mine ace Aeolian harp;
my sweet afflatus penning matchless lays;
or yet my tight Versace chiton sharp;
my likeness to Apollo cast in bronze,
its Herculean co*k somewhat obscene;
my dozen Hang Fung Gold designer johns,
which after each huge golden dump self-clean;
nor need I lend my horny Erato --
my muse who not alone my mind doth blow . . .

a dedication of Respect
for
the anonymity of a Modesty
inimitable
a revolving helios sonnet shakespearean satire menippean on
the ego that wanks to thanks
april, 2023 -- still e'er at the expense of Character
each worldly celebration to no shame
