Who I Was

Time like water recasts a face; An imposter looks from my place. Who I once was I know him not, But not because I have forgot. For certainly, could he foresee, I fear that he would not know me. 10.9.2022 3rd Place in Bite Size Poetry Contest #53

Hi, Jesse. A very powerful piece. Time, although not an enemy, compels us to get to know him. Your poem provokes more thought and musings. Blessings.
