When Time Stands Still

On the edge of a luminescent hillside I lay belly down gazing at the horizon Waiting patiently with crepuscular eyes Chin cupped in hands My mind wanders on- ward for that moment between worlds When light fades away, and night enters Making way for the dreamer to explore Interdimensionally The sky turns purple The distant clouds transforming into beings that were not there before, notice my pupils Expanding. Beckoning them. I’m seeing . . . them change directions. Floating ever so slowly toward me now The sky is still Purple But more crystalline and somehow holy like Amythest scrying me I get a chill up my spine As they move in ever so closer Closer closer so close I could touch them so close I could taste them I reach up And oh my, they do taste like cotton candy!

What wonderful imagination, dear Benjamin! In a serene moment, when even the twilight fades, lying at the edge of a hillside with eyes focused on the sky up, one can see heavenly bodies moving and drawing closer. Definitely it will be a celestial experience. Love the poem and its lay out.

I can almost imagine you on that hillside looking down on a picturesque panorama of beauty. You have a great way of using adjectives for description. Alas I am limited as I am not English and my diction is limited.
