sometimes, in silence, so many carry secrets, dark and haunting, like childhood abuse, and torment theyve faced .. this poem highlights that.

When silence speaks in broken dialects, to harmonize hurt, I ponder, would the sky unravel synonyms for serenity, amidst piercing thunder that strikes through raining regrets~ upon flowers, swaying forsaken, to butterfly ballads? But will oblivious eyes, roaming the blackness of selfish spheres~ where prayers are abandoned as meaningless metaphors, ever feel the darkness we carry, when tears no longer flow in lakes with swans, to be seen? It is in melted muteness, we reveal realness of suppressed pain, as childhood fears scribbled as forbidden secrets~ rewind on repeat through holographic lens of life, mirroring bloodstained fingerprints etched across linen of chastity… So tonight, when blue moon in my mind ascends in insomniac stillness, listen to the sulfuric sins scattered as flashbacks of an onyx rose, as vandalized veins scream in helplessness, awaiting a sculptured sunrise that bleeds balmy ointments for burnt blisters, while I remain, in mists of misery, weaving prose, to erase tattooed torment that stole starry symphonies within my soul. ..

IE, this is very insightful. I think many abused people come up with mechanisms to try to deal with what happened, but these solutions don't often work very well. The fix is never easy and not everyone can get to a reasonable place afterwards. Your language and images are stark. I also hope you are well. This is for a contest, but the images evoke real pain in my mind. I've suffered plenty in my life, so I know it when I see it even when it's hard to spot. You are a wonderful poet!!

oh how painful it is to suffer alone. lonely mostly. the silence is loud but the worst part is that it's only loud to you. your poem beautifully captures that. it is an ode to that. i really enjoyed it.

Silence speaking in broken dialects suggests so much. Blue moon ascending in insomniac stillness is a powerful image. Here the question is will "the sky unravel synonyms for serenity, amidst piercing thunder that strikes through raining regrets".The darkness and despair we carry within are never noticed by oblivious eyes as long as tears don't run down our cheeks in streams. It is in muteness, we reveal suppressed pain. Yet there is hope of a 'sculptured sunrise that bleeds balmy ointments for burnt blisters,". This poem of pain, torment, hope and loneliness reflect the nuances of life and the inevitable vagaries of human existence. Another marvelous poem , dear Empress.

Your poem explores the profound intricacies of grief, loneliness, and the inherent human longing for solace, dear Ink. The evocative depictions take the reader to a place where the seamless integration of nature and human emotions creates a symphony of raw and unrestrained potency. The poem's creepy look is intensified by the references to past transgressions woven into recollections and the depiction of a blue moon ascending in a state of sleeplessness. These elements accentuate the speaker's anguish and their desperate want for solace. Your poetry explores the intricacies of the human experience, eliciting a spectrum of emotions and capturing the timeless battle for serenity amidst challenges.

Dearest Inky, your opening line sets up every exquisite word that follows. What a brilliant image of "broken dialects." As always, your command of imagery is awesome - "vandalized veins," "bleeds balmy ointments," "melted muteness." You have harnessed this theme with your amazing gift of poetic expression. Just awesome! Best wishes for the contest, dear friend. Blessings! Samzy~

I was just watching a video last night about a Mexican man who left home and came to USA at nine years old due to father being abusive alcoholic. He eventually got into boxing and through that world into drug dealing. His mentor was murdered and he returned home at fifteen to find his mom studying the Bible and home life much different. Long story short he's now a happy man with a nice family of his own. But the tears flowed as he told his story. Anyway, your excellent poem brought that to mind

Thats very inspiring and interesting. Whats the name of the movie? I watch so many of those too. Sometimes men have no other option but to move on while carrying all the pain once endured in silence, eventually they flow when telling their story. I always appreciate your comments and support. Thank you so very much
