War of Me versus Universe

For long I lived far from whole— A life of me and my soul, Not one with everyone else, Not one, spiritually spells, A life that took heavy toll. I fought a self-imposed curse, A war— me with universe, Alone I took off to goal, Walked with me forever tall, Not a walk walked with others. Thought, me alone was enough, And yet the journey proved tough, World, a web of awareness— Common ground of consciousness, It called my blind-folded bluff. For, the rainfall on my town, By Neighbour's warmth is sent down, One can’t live in solitude, Save, with common brotherhood, One falls, many break their crown. __________________________________ Reflections |12.04.2024| self, spiritual
