Ukraine V's Russian Warship Moskva

UKRAINIE V'S RUSSIAN WARSHIP MOSKVA Those laugh a minute Ukraine's, on being asked to surrender Told the Russian's, "Go fook yourselves" in good old splendor Survived to live another day; as released, prisoner exchange Now that very same warship "Moskva has sunk" how strange We finished it; says Ukraine, our fault says Russia, explained Either way the warship Moskva sunk much to Russia's distain It's always nice in war to be able to chuckle at others demise To Ukraine's one-upmanship; and then to Putin's woeful cries Indiana Shaw . . . "Chuckle, chuckle, chuckle" . . . ; ) "The Russian Warship Moskva; which was made infamous by threating 13 Ukrainians left protecting Snake island back in February of this year has now met it demise, believed to have sank in the Black Sea" "But, hold your pants Ukraine, for Putin's retaliation" . . . : '

I thought first days reports said the 13 men Were massacred..? Oh well that's war nasty All round.' Truth and casualties and way too Many lies, did the ship sink by misadventure Or missile.? Who knows.' I only know it should Be proscribed (my bet is we won't get many world Leaders to sign that one though)

Correct, Joe, they did indeed survive, the answer to the last bit comes with the day we turn on the manufacturers of the weapons of death, as after all they are the real root to all of this deathly evil . . . : /

Sadly this is so true, Constance, Putin's own paranoia has indeed created his own worst nightmare, at Ukraine's and his own soldiers cost, lets hope we see an end to it soon . . .

Your poem is great, and so is the sinking of their ship. But its cost will be more strikes at the heart and soul of Ukraine, as you point out...a senseless war. But then all war is. Congratulations on POTD.

Hi, Edward, Ukraine even have postal stamps marking the attack of Snake Island, and the cheeky Ukrainian who stood up to the Russians by saying the now infamous words, he got a medal for it once he was released, that is Ukraine humour for you, blessed day Edward . . . : )
