Time Left

When one heart did stop the love that two did share An Eternity it does seem for the one left to bare So intertwined the love that should have lasted a life time Entangled in emotions and sorrow is the one left behind Dark though day the one that is left does have to pay Do, want not, cannot replace the love that has passed away It will stay dark even when day until I join you in the grave

Thanks for the comment on this poem Cay Cay it is spot on. I to am glad I'm not living it and glad I do not have any memory of this kinda pain we all suffer at one time or another. Nice to see you are still writing poetry.

Unrequited love is intensely painful and you effectively emphasized its duration and devastation. Glad I am to remember it rather than be living it. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

It is a wonderful thing when two hearts become one but the loss of one can be unbearable. Lovely poem my friend.
