Thoughts at 4:27 am

I love that she sees me as I would be, And not as I am. That she tolerates my half century faults As a passing phase. I love that our children Have passion and curiosity And are as different as sunsets. I love, now ain't that a surprise? Despite all the punishment I've taken I can still believe in another. And my reward is her laughter My punishment her tears My heaven her touch And my hell... The years Without.
