The Path To Love
As I sit here wondering what to do today,
I can’t help thinking back to a far-away past.
I so enjoyed going outside with my friends to play.
I always hoped that my childhood would forever last.
Sometimes, growing up was the hardest thing to do,
But I tried to put it off as long as I could.
If I hadn't grown up, I never would have met you.
The love that you've shown me is the best of parenthood.
