I am not a winter person. After 35 years in Chicago, I moved West and never for a second regretted it. I tried to ski on a bunny hill once, and was bad at it. But your relationship with nature in its pristine glory that I run from. I like nature's other face...soft, green and flowery. You make is sound so glorious and I believe you. Your love for it may inspire others to try it. Kudos on an acrostic with vivid imagery. For a second Poem...really well done! Hugs, Pangie xx

i do see it as glorious. However, I enjoy all seasons of the year. Winter happens to be my favorite. Thank you for your comments.

I love the winter in all its glory, always puts me in a Christmas mood. Well written acrostic Madelyn, must admit I'd never heard of snowshoeing, had to look it up, it looks great fun. Tom

I have been a winter person all my life. I was a skater and a downhill skier. I recently stopped skiing and started snowshoeing. I never thought it would be a substitute for either sport. I can't believe how it hooked me. I wrote the poem for two sisters who can no longer ski together. I hope that they will enjoy snowshoeing as much as I have. Thank you for your kind words.
