Do you like trekking through the woods in Fall;
did you know it's a way to relieve stress?
The crunch of leaves, or a scolding crow's call,
signals that summertime is in recess.
As a child, I'd explore the woods near home,
always looking for secret paths and trails.
And rather than stay home, I'd often roam,
chasing down local stories and tall tails.
Serene and reflective, Nature lures me,
to Her quietude and unique places.
And though Autumn leaves are a sight to see,
they form but one of Her many faces.
Nature's hidden trails aren't found in a book;
you want to see them, you'll have to go look.
