Beneath the tranquil surface, secrets hide, Water still like a mirror, calm and wide. Yet deep below, a tempest starts to form, A storm is brewing, nature's wild alarm. Waves undulating, with a rhythmic dance, Whispers of the wind, a wild romance. The peaceful facade begins to fade, As turmoil stirs, in the watery shade. Nature's power, in every ebb and flow, A symphony of chaos, in the undertow. Water still like a mirror, yet untamed, Remember beauty and fury can be the same.

Beautiful poem Sara. We must treasure Mother Nature's beauty - we don't want to get on Mother Nature's furious side!

Definitely not, David. Of course, God is in control but sometimes it seems sad things happen when weather goes wild. Thank you for dropping by, and for taking time to comment. Sara K

what a brilliantly written poem, Sara K. A masterpiece in my mind. The flow of your poem added to the strength of your message(s) hidden within your words and lines. The last line is insightful and wise. Loved it...would make for a great message inside a greeting card. Have a splendid evening, hugs, Sara PS faving

Dear sara, i love the rhymes and flow of your words woven here in a very meaningful manner. So many lines stood out for me especially “ Nature's power, in every ebb and flow, A symphony of chaos, in the undertow. Water still like a mirror, yet untamed,“ theres so much depth in just those lines and more. And what a fitting picture to go with your poem! Pleasure reading this. Sending you always light. Hope weather is treating you well too

IE, so far today is fine. It is possible that weather could come in tonight into tomorrow, however, it is not supposed to be as bad as what hit out west or mid-west. Thanks for the kind review of my work. Sara K

Hello my friend, I felt the poem's message is one of reverence for the beauty and power of nature, reminding us that beneath its serene façade lies a world of untamed energy and potential. It serves as a poignant reminder that beauty and fury are not mutually exclusive but rather two sides of the same coin, coexisting in perfect harmony within the natural world.
