Hummingbird’s perch sipping fresh liquid gold, while their wings flutter in luminous green. Soon to be zipping, zooming, flying bold. Sunlight brightens their tiny plumes to sheen. Purple finches feed on sunflower seeds, while joyously singing their whistling song. Songbirds join their chorus of trilling speeds, now perched feeding, preening, they won't be long. Red Robins frolic upon the wet ground, welcoming their chirping sounds of delight. Busily looking for worms to be found, enjoying their jolly Spring feeding plight. Sounds of joyous songbirds welcome in Spring, rejoicing summer will soon be in swing.

With Spring comes an array of birds. All the birds you have mentioned here are my favorites.... humming birds , finches and red breasted robins. I had a pair of finches in my house for long. When one of them died, the other bird became so sad that I let it fly away. When birds sing together, the atmosphere becomes mellifluous with electric waves. Beautiful sonnet dear Tania....

Dear Tania, your poem dances with the energy of spring, showing natures wonderful life in full bloom. The imagery of hummingbirds sipping liquid gold and finches joyously singing evokes a sense of wonder and delight. I can almost feel the sun's warmth and hear the chorus of bird songs heralding the arrival of a new season. What a joyful ode to spring's awakening. - Blessings, Daniel

I think I've seen more robins frolicking on the ground then I've ever seen they flying. They don't seem to be as plentiful as they once were. Enjoyed your spring poem, Tania.
