Hummingbird’s perch sipping fresh liquid gold,
while their wings flutter in luminous green.
Soon to be zipping, zooming, flying bold.
Sunlight brightens their tiny plumes to sheen.
Purple finches feed on sunflower seeds,
while joyously singing their whistling song.
Songbirds join their chorus of trilling speeds,
now perched feeding, preening, they won't be long.
Red Robins frolic upon the wet ground,
welcoming their chirping sounds of delight.
Busily looking for worms to be found,
enjoying their jolly Spring feeding plight.
Sounds of joyous songbirds welcome in Spring,
rejoicing summer will soon be in swing.
