Poet, Poem Poetry
If I had a nickle for every poem written
And every poem echoing in every heart of mankind
Working our brains day and night
Page after page
The voices from the past
That like winds to the future
To other poets everywhere
So that their voices can be heard,
Heard loudly
Heard freely
One poet at a time,
One poet at a time,
Every poet, everytime in every listening ear.
And if I had a nickle
For every poem spanned
From the ink of every poet
Moving towards the future
If I had a nickle
For every poem
I would be a rich man.
