* * * Shall I contrast thee to a candied treat? Thou art by far the tastier delight; A nougat gobbled up is bittersweet, With nothing left to nibble on or bite. Sometime too sticky thick to full digest, The caramel, alack, untouched remains; While often is a tooth put to the test, In crunching peppermints or candy canes.
