Phoenix rising
Decayed dust draped with dark desire,
builds within form a raging fire,
of fear and hope, that does so grope,
with feral cravings, heart does sire.
The wafting, weeping wind would cope
with life but has run out of rope,
so bends down low in surrender,
love cajoling it to elope.
Embracing silence in wonder,
soul feels within soundless thunder,
a rhyme sublime, that has no name,
rising thus from deep down under.
