Not In Today
Sometimes I'm not in the day,
I'm neither there nor thither here,
Floating above the petty way,
We seem to move about in fear.
Pills prodded from empty tubes,
Whose empty shells fall too,
Beneath fallen capsules whose,
Corpses yet to prove.
Whether 'tis better to,
Open eyes consumed,
By neither light nor clue,
Partisan bemused.
Gates open,
Walk amongst:
Whether chosen,
Beyond us.
