Nostalgia

Nomadic memories nurtured in mind's eye as necrotic curtains part. Naive sanguine beliefs nourish scrutiny 'til novelty rendered moot. Nirvana was falsehood. ---------------------- (C) John C Michaels, 30th April 2017 For the "Pleiades N" contest sponsored by Kim Merryman. (3rd Place)

Nostalgia sprinkled with disappointment or perhaps remorse. Some memories are best kept under lock and key. Regards // paul

VERY good in depth look at nostalgia. I don't know. I think it was more Nirvana than falsehood, at least for me!!

Thanks, Andrea. For me, so many things I have fond memories of, are tinged with disappointment when re-visited decades later. Sometimes it's best just to leave them be. Thanks for stopping by. Regards, John.
